I ended up going with the Remark 3.5” single wall axle back, it looks and sounds great! Good tip by the way, You definitely want some WD40 for the hanger’s to get the stock mufflers off. Best way I’ve found without a hanger tool is to use WD40 and slide a flathead in to get part of the hanger over the flange, they come off pretty easy from there. I do recommend a long sleeve shirt and gloves so you don’t cut yourself on anything if your hand slips 👍
I ran this exhaust for about 5 months and I think it’s too loud. Cold start is crazy loud and drone is horrible. I’ve upgraded to an invidia q300 catback and is the sweet spot for me, not too loud and not too quiet and perfect for daily driving
@@MaxSkate3432 yes! Still love it to this day. Its perfect for me as a daily driver. Loud enough only when i get up in the rpms and theres no drone at all.
@@MaxSkate3432 I believe the remark will be louder and more drone since it doesnt have a resonator and the mufflers are smaller. The invidia is the sweet spot for me on loudness and in cabin comfort 👍🏼
@@AutoEnthusiast Got the red too in sport lol, im looking at remarks touring catback tho...just worried about potential warranty issues. But ive heard catbacks are ok?!
Perks of my employment. I sell Subarus and someone traded in a new WRX with some mods. In order for us to “certify” the car we had to remove all the mods so i just happened to be there when the mechanic just gave em over to me 😂
Just ordered your Remark Muffled AxbleBack with Polised DoubleWalls for my 24 Ignition Red WRX. How loud will your muffled axle back be compared to stock and these? Please let me know and I will make sure to write a review and a RUclips video about it. Thank you
Habe you found your exhaust is getting louder? I have the same exhaust in a 2022 WRX. After a few months I have found that the exhoust has gotten louder and deeper with time.
Was there any stock muffler gasket to remove ? I did the install today and have not noticed a stock gasket. Now I have the remark axleback (muffled) and it sounds like I might have an exhaust leak. I thought maybe I forgot to remove the stock gasket ?
Subaru has told me it does not affect the warranty on my 2023 VB WRX! It’s one of the only mods you can do that doesn’t void warranty though. Intake will likely void warranty and accessport definitely will.
Man im stuck between axleback or catback. Im thinking catback. Will these rust? Im in Canada and my stock exhaust is already RUSTED TO SHIT after one winter and thats with it being sprayed.
@@8JFJK8 Rusted exhaust, seems weird that it is already rusted... But if you're looking to get an axleback or catback, AWE and Remark are both awesome systems for the WRX
A couple of things here - all exhausts rust in the rust belt and crazy fast. The better the material, the more likely it's 100% surface rust and impurities picked up from driving. That said, get a catback, I will eventually be doing that. Just installed the axleback for the video.

Some of us can't afford the whole shabanga in one go, did mine in 6 month intervals and axel backs first, is a great start to meaner sound, then did mid pipe, J pipe will be next eventually

I just bought that axle back in it’s way more loud than my previous 2020 WRX, I will consider something else, does Q300 worth it ?

got the remark boso pipes for mine and wow they sound fantastic. i’ve got the exact same base ignition red wrx as you
woop woop! Why did you opt for the boso?

you are 100% okay with any catback designed for the VB

Can you make a video on the in-cabin noise while driving? Like if there is any drone on specific speeds and rpms. Thanks
Running a Cobb down pipe with remark mid pipe and remark axle back stealth….. loud affffffff on STI
I have’m
I love’m
Sound is👌🏻
Good vid!
You gotta film a new outro for the channel tho😊

Not yet! But I will keep an ear out for it. Is it a huge difference on your vb?

Stupid question but, no kind of tuning needed for an exhaust mod/swap out right?
Anything cat back and you are good to go!
Forgive my ignorance and I’m 99% sure, but this has zero impact on factory warranty, correct?
Yeah axleback and catback doesnt effect warranty from what ive heard.
correct! Better to ask than not! No such thing as a stupid question!

I'll have a 1-1 comparison out soon!
Does this void any engine warranty ? And does it require a tune ?
No and no!

only for sound effect? No horsepower increase? thx.
eh marginal increase, maybe 3-4 whp. But yes all sound.
Nice and loud
Why not go full catback? Sounds great tho!
