I’ve tried the hand land and flip with the E2K enterprise the first day I got it. Holy cow, the motors are strong. It really really fought me to get it flipped over.
Yeah honestly I never do that anymore just seems too aggressive or something I guess I prefer gentle hand land. I know when the motors fight you can get sketchy.
OMG, I just got into Autel from DJI stuff.... went to hand catch like always and this happened. I figured that it was a sensor thing, but the fact that you can turn off all the sensors and it STILL does not like to be hand caught is lame. I will use this technique next time thanks! Oh, and if Autel is listening, you need a "hand catch" setting/function!
Thanks for the video...I had the same issue with my 640T enterprise....It was then I determined that the motors on the Enterprise are more powerful than the motors on EVO II Pro.
thanks again for your video! I'm still not ready to land it on my hand. I do with my mini 2 but with the Autel Enterprise, it is just scary to me, at least for now. Be safe and flight safe!😎
Always do what is within your comfort level. Again worse case to me is props don’t stop spinning and simply gain altitude and try again or land on the ground.
I never tried a hand landing with Evo 2, but I was used to do it with other drones (Parrot Anafi, Mavic Mini, Fimi X8 SE 2020). Have you tried, after you catch the drone, to turn it on one side? Usually all drones stop the rotor spinning when they go upside down…
my first day with A2K V3, I tried to hand land with my hands and push the left stick down but the aircraft rebelled, then I nervous and turned off the power button on the aircraft..
Have you ever had your finger lacerated by a propeller? Even my small Anafi left a nasty wound. I always prefer ground landing. Also you can grab it real hard, and turn it sideways which will turn it off.
Yup I have when in Hawaii rushing to get down and launch quickly. It sliced the fingers good enough it hurt and had to put bandages on to stop the bleeding. But that was me rushing. I have never flipped my Autel drones only DJI ones. Have you?
The Autel drone needs about ten seconds of steady hovering just above ground level to get information for RTH accurate landing, hand launching an Autel is stupidity.

I started hand catching after watching your other video with the evo6k. I feel more comfortable turning off the sensors
Good call less to fight or think about I agree disabling is the call.

I have to hand catch my EVO2 pro when I fly from the boat…
@@KeyLargoDudedo you use your hands to launch it from a moving boat?

@@AtortAerials yes; you can grab them firmly and twist them to the side. But it may put a strain on the drone.
I cut myself once no joke air2 s army out
@@AtortAerials Have you tried to grab and quickly flip it with the EVO II and enterprise yet?
You want to meet up this morning east Troy Wisconsin? 10 ish

This is what I don't like about Autel
