As a Khabib Nurmagomedov fan, I'm glad Tony in a great state of mind. It's not about winning side. It's about family and business side too. He's more professional than ever.
Imagine if they put in extra rule for TUF Tony Vs. Khabib: 1. Khabib can only have American/Latin fighters on his team 2. Tony can only have Russian/Eastern Euro fighters on his team

Love the energy and mindset from Tony and he actually looked great more technical than ever he got caught vs a top ko artist out of his prime no shame in that 🙏
Tony is the shit He shoots straight. IDC if he's lying about any of it. That's the guy you want covering your back. I think Tony's best attribute from mckwondo dojo is "indominable spirit". I think that chokra will and can take him far. It sounds like he's starting to play nice with others backstage now.
This is great to hear that Tony would humble himself this late into his career and start over and be coached. Something Conor will never do. Being insulated in an ever-evolving game is a recipe for failure.
I really hope he goes up to 170. Would have loved to see it the moment he was offered the Holloway fight for interim and he turned it down. Better late than never.
He looks much better with the weight and extra muscle on him. He looked very unhealthy in the last 2 fights before Chandler. He looked healthy though in that fight, now even better.
It's actually fascinating how he is tricking himself into going on. Noone else who failed to fight the champ 5x after being on a 12 fight win streak, being stripped off his belt, and then lost 4 fights straight could ever be this optimistic and ready to fight again. Yes, he is probably deluded, but does it matter? He's still ready to kick ass. How many people could do that after what he's been through?
Preach brotha delusion or not it don't matter to still keep going🦾 after 4 consecutive loses is damn hard. Most amateurs in the fight game would have already quit after 2 consecutive losses💯
Gotta appreciate Tony for giving us entertainment and fireworks throughout the years with fun fights. A great example of taking wrong career choices and having the worst management team unlike Khabib who did it all the right way and rode onto the sunset. Why he didn't train jiu jitsu against Oliveira is so lame considering that he was gonna fight someone with the most submission wins in UFC/MMA history at 21 now...
So fucking amazing that Tony is in great spirits still! He still believes in himself and he's still having ton of fun! We'll see what's next... Don't be surprised if he goes on another streak!
It's so difficult to follow his stream of consciousness. To actually make sense of the context - of why he would be saying each thing. And just to recognize when he is changing from one subject to another. The dude is on a different level of existence.
