Ugh. My poor tortured Caroline. She deserved so much better.
I'm a sucker for characters that develop way beyond the person that we first see. Caroline Forbes is certainly one of those characters. I remember in Season 1, I really liked Caroline and Matt together and I really enjoyed seeing the small development that she had.
Cue Season 2 and the best decision made on this show - turning Caroline into a vampire. I thought at first that it would eventually lead to a rehash of poor Vikkis fate, and that this signed Carolines death note. But lo and behold, she was the last vampire standing.
I had originally started this as just simply a Caroline Forbes-Salvatore video, but I added in Steroline scenes and it just developed into this !

This show always focuses on Elena and her rough life but no one seems to notice that Caroline and everyone else has had a rough life too, so seeing a video like this is good bc it shows that some people understand that other people on the show have had hardships as well
