- Let's sit down to test if Temporal Forces booster packs are weighable! This has been an on and off issue with Pokemon for a long time. Over the past few years Pokemon has worked to completely stop Pack weighing. They used to have different weight code cards to offset holos but now with having a holo in every pack they stopped the different weight code cards. Does this mean you can't weigh Temporal Forces packs? Tune in and find out!!

I can confirm that in the 90’s when Pokemon was released I remember as a kid seeing people weighing packs in the middle of the store.
Once again proof quality control is STILL an issue. Literally they keep pumping out product. They need to start focusing on QUALITY over QUANTITY. Having so much product coming out affects the time they get to put on the quality of the cards as well as stuff like keeping track of weighability. The fact we have this issue again means they need to start fixing quality control again.
Then go show them how it's done and let us know how it went....
This is facts I've been saying this lately the quality of the English cards has gone downhill. Multiple SIR pulls the holofoil is either nicked on an edge and peeling off a bit or centering is just atrocious. Print lines and uneven cuts. It's just frustrating when you get a nice pull finally and oh...it's got quality issues. Nice. Pokemon FIGURE IT OUT.
I’d be interested to see if sleeved works. I contemplated getting a case of sleeved and weighing like 60 with and without sleeves and seeing what they had for hits. Just to see what variance they have in sleeve weight and card weight. I work in a factory so it’s always interesting to me to see how consistent other places are with adhesive quantities and material quality
I officially won't purchase loose packs
I won a giveaway for paradox rift from a big streamer last year. It was a booster bundle that had 6 packs. Packs came shipped as individual packs instead of a sealed booster bundle and I had zero hits. I was a little suspicious.

I appreciate you doing this, the lady and I honestly got like 100 packs on the way, luckily sealed boxes and such, but we were honestly wondering if this was a thing for this set, since it has been in the past. My next big question is, what retail format has the best chances for hits per pack on average. We've had waaay better luck with packs from tins/special collections than we have with ETB's, which have honestly been terrible as of late. Booster bundles have even been way better as well, so it would be cool to see a rip comparison of like ETB vs booster bundles vs boxes/tins and such.

weight the code cards of different products, like the blisters, ETBs and such. Maybe these can only be batch weighed like crown zenith

Yea this is ridiculous along with the low hit rates as it stands this is very disheartening. I'll never buy loose packs again anyway as they'll leave those other weight packs so they get some "hits" but it's always ex and full arts
My boyfriend spent £400 on loose Crown Zenith packs on ebay... he bought 90 of them and got the worst hits, no double bangers at all and just a bunch of IR's. Sad thing is you can't really prove the seller skimmed the heavy packs off the top.
Imo, try this again so we can see what a pack with only an SIR weighs and not a double hit. This is crazy!
I'm glad I don't buy single packs. I only allow myself to buy 1 to 2 booster boxes per set and then just buy the cards that I really want to have separately.

I don’t think this proves anything yet. Too little information. That’s just 2 booster boxes from the same distributor. Pokémon cards are printed in multiple factories and each factory will have different quality control systems in place. Some may be like this and have weighable packs but some won’t make weighable packs.
Proof is in the pudding bro. You don’t need that many pack to prove this analysis.

that's really disappointing. I would imagine this carries over to sleeved boosters which would be a bigger issue as plenty of places can sell those without ripping into other products.
