TH is strong but NAVI has many holes now. suygetsu is underperforming and has less impact than the suygetsu we know from the debut matches he played and his first LAN. I really respect suygetsu and wish he played like he used to be or else he will be forgotten like dimasick.
@@praveenrajendran5232 Also TH rely a lot on miniboo to get kills, TH have no problem closing rounds out but if miniboo doesn’t get opening pick they kinda crumble and we have yet to see a game without miniboo match mvping the whole thing. So i’m scared for when miniboo gets hard countered or has an off day

What made FNC one of the best teams last year was there creativity and thinking outside the box. After the off-season, it definitely seems like a lot of teams realized they need to take advantage of a very diverse agent pool and really get creative if they want to keep up and not be meta slaves. I hate to say it because while FNC isn't bad, their performance here was pretty straightforward while KC showed innovation (and making the Sensory Deprivation Comp seem so good) and I am so looking forward to them continuing.
The thing is they've played the same strat for a whole year and WON with the same strat. Why would they change anything when they aren't losing? But then they get beaten. So they will have to change strats like every other team. Lose is improve.

I mean yes, but it was also cause the other teams last year sans the Top 4 (them included) were just meta slaves. I think it's surprising that they didn't think teams would improve/innovate following such a long off season. @@LeniusRiven
Funny. They both were rocking a sensory deprivation comp lol so bad observation. KC just played a much more aggressive defense, and their style was something FNC were just not prepared for. They played horribly and tried to stay disciplined. They lost because their style and strategy is now outdated. Team comp was the least of the issues lol.
No doubt. VCT has entered a new era. In this year's VCT, there are no words like "you can't win" or "it's impossible."
Valorant is all about second chances, nothing is impossible.

tbh this masters doesnt even feel exciting. theres barely any teams and u didnt even have to play that many games to qualify for it. its just gonna be nrg/loud domination unfortuntately

Honestly it’s a bigger feat then EG had on the come up bc EG took the last spot in americas and barley made it to playoffs. KC not only took one of the two spots but kinda dominated to playoffs aside from the TH game and dominated fnatic. 13-10 no pistol is crazy and Split there was around 3/4 rounds KC threw. They have yet to achieve the heights of EG but damn they could

Honestly, I think this was the best outcome for FNC.. They looked very lack-luster this event. They need to go back to the drawling board and figure out how the new meta... Teams that are still using skye are the ones that haven't really changed much from last years strats/meta. Come back in 2 months and give it another go. Not even a big FNC fan. But, I can appreciate the consistency and fierce dominance they've shown over the years. Teams are just trying new things and teams that are still stuck in the old meta, are falling behind.

This happened to VCT pacific also, it’s not that PRX and FNC fell off it’s just they only played 2 series of games the whole tournament, lacked preparation since they never played with most of the teams.
Okay Valorant God, FNC team will take notes. Bro, they played only 1 game before this. And they ran their old comp. My thoughts are they underestimated KC. Even the fans underestimated KC. FNC were confident about their retakes and they got diff strated hard. KC studied FNC here and FNC didn't. Nothing to worry. They still got 2 tourney's to go.

This result along with NAVI vs TH match proved that EMEA region as a whole are getting better. Now EMEA don't have to reply on only 2 teams, there're more options now. It's good for the region in the long term

Fnatic have stopped being innovative, they used to show new things, they were one of those teams who always show something new whether it's strats or agent comp. Staying on top is the hardest part, now I appreciate LOUD more as a team because they always try to be innovative and they put extra importance in their team comp. Fnatic needs to go back to the drawing board and learn a thing or 2 on these teams like heretics and kcorp

I feel like both navi and fnatic underestimated their opponents. They really didn't change much of their strat from last year, so the other teams were able to read them better. Anyway I'm glad this year there's more competition in emea. Now nobody can say it's a one team region

@@sagminpik4212 no navi aren't bad lmao. They were dominating sunset first half, and I'm pretty should they would have been able to close out the map, but TH just played better on defense. On breeze th just snowballed from the previews map. I think that by April the competition will be even better

NAVI isn't anything like they used to when they played under FPX. They were extremely diligent & their basics were always on point.
Now, sometimes it feels like they just don't care that much or something isn’t right.
Fnatic got caught when their pants were pulled down. I don't think they were expecting this type of performance or response from KC.
Imo,if Fanatic even had a hint that KC can perform tlike this, this could be totally different.
My only question is, can teams like GenG,TH and KC - perform like this on the big stage?

im so happy for n4rrate. ive always been rooting for him and I hated seeing him play with pros who have been in the valorant scene for the longest that would disrespect him even though he was clearly better than him. Bro can’t believe both my fav teams NAVI & FNC lost their games.. last year FNC & NAVI both looked super good but this year the whole story is different but it’s the only starting of 2024 season hopefully teams like FNC, DRX, NAVI, LEV will bounce back next time. Best wishes to TH & KC.

Masters Madrid without any VCT 2023 Major winners (Fnatic, EG).
My very amateur observation:
FNC always tries to play "logically" and always expects the other team will do the same. But KC were constantly pushing the envelope as to what they can get away with. They were just hard pushing into angles with the "I am better than you" attitude that FNC struggled with.
FNC often throw a piece of util and expect the opponent to respect it. But teams like LOUD and this new KC don't really care about a smoke or a flash unless you punish them for disrespecting it.
yeah KC does the same as loud which is relying on aim and micro plays
FNC the 2021 SEN in EMEA. Everyone studied their strates and then dethroned them
Insane that 3/5 of the KC roster hasn't played in tier 1 before, yet they come in and 2-0 fnatic

I think the big teams are just laying low and they’ll show their true selves in champions
These casters were really good compare to what we have in NA, they hype many moments up. In American league, they are always complaining about the team they like less. It's just sad.
brazilian casters are really good, and na casters really lack compared to EMEA
reasons as to why fnatic lost:
1. They didnt innovate any new comps, not that they didnt need to but surely teams would be anti stratting their comps and finding the weaknesses in it and plus it's a new episode with new nerfs and buffs. Personally i think they shouldve implemented gekko in some way cuz gekko seems like a strong character atm
2. They played so timid. You can see it a lot in split where they werent taking space and wasnt reclearing anything and letting kc just have a lot of space. Their rotates were so incredibly slow and they genuinely seemed lost at times, which is something Im dumbfounded to say
This was not fnatic. Whatever their coaches are doing, they need to be innovating like what loud is doing and theyre still thriving as one of the best americas vct teams

The reason why I love Valorant, you may have 3-4 good teams but they are not 100% sure to win all the way. Don't get me wrong, I love Fnatic, NRG, Navi, and LOUD but we gotta believe on other teams too as some of them have good potentials.
