Nice product / Nice review! I always remove my watch when I play and my eyes aren't what they used to be so I would have to be using readers while trying to play golf. The young people will enjoy the watch!
You're right about the rain. Ominous clouds out there this whole week. Had a lightning delay at Disney range too. Plus, our humidity has still been brutal. Not much golf for me in recent weeks. Might have to take up a different hobby.
Hi Gabe, great review as always. I literally got my new Garmin S70 yesterday, so i won’t be buying a T11 Pro. But would you say the S70 is a nicer package? I’m a previous Garmin user (Venu) but the screen died. I also have the Garmin sensors in my clubs (which I love) so I was pretty committed to sticking with Garmin. I also have small wrists so T11 looks very large to me. By the way it’s 51mm diameter vs Garmin 47mm, and 15.2mm vs Garmin 13.4 (and for those with tiny wrists there is always the 42mm version of S70, but it isn’t rocking all the same features, which is why I went for the 47mm size in the end).
Great video! 14:17 is it possible to choose on the watch which club your are hitting before you hit the ball? For example, I may be hitting third or fourth from the tee (which I often do!) and so I generally know the distance and club I will be using and therefore can input the info while waiting for others to take their shots.
If it's the same as Garmin not very...it's linked to a weather map on your phone...so if wind switches or is swerling around or if it just disconnects from your phone then it's crap...my Garmin would disconnect a couple of times a round
The only thing I do not like is the time of selecting every club, they need to incorporate tags to make it faster, that's all I want to see is being behind 4 or 5 guys doing this every shot when I am behind them. Heck, it's bad enough when they sit off the green inserting all the info on their damn phones now days ! I quit wearing my shot scope watch and leaving all range finders in my bag and just guesstimating my yardages by feeling like the old days and I have actually been playing better golf!!! I think players are getting WAY too wrapped up in all these gadgets, trying to find a better game.

As someone who is terrible at reading the green, that feature is actually amazing. I'm surprised other golf apps don't already have this feature.
You’re not alone, my buddy Wade constantly has difficulty reading the slope if it’s up or down. This would solve that.
Gabe does this have the tempo setting which is available on the T9 and I think is a really good feature
Yes it does indeed

Looks sharp
Great video/review as always. Does this watch recommend what clubs to hit or do you just need to know your distances?
It doesn’t have a virtual caddie built in

Unfortunately not possible
@LetsPlayThru Sad face. Still, a great review. You have a new like and subscriber, ty! Happy face.
How accurate is the wind direction on the watch?

The one time that I used it on course, it seemed correct, but it’s going to only be as accurate as the weather service it’s pulling the data from.
@@LetsPlayThru This where Arccos shines. - its live not dependent on weather old data
Is that watch larger than the Garmin S62?
Yes and it wears way bigger
@@LetsPlayThru thanks, it looks good but I have a S62 and anything larger would look goofy on my 7” wrist.
Not A bad looking watch, although it does look really bulky like the bushnell ion elite I got from you earlier (it died after a few months).
Definitely a chunky monkey
That's a lot of empty space on the screen not being utilized. For me, my S70 still hits all the marks (I use it for cycling and running as well)
Agree, I definitely would’ve preferred to see it smaller
Great video, could you cut off some of the features you don’t need? I can’t see entering data and slowing up the round.
Absolutely. You could simply use what you like and keep it as simple as GPS yardages.
Too much technology for me. By the time I figured out what screen I needed, other golfers would be hitting balls at me. Lol
First!
Too bloody complicated. It's no wonder golf is slowing down.
