Show only features that intersect Atlas features in QGIS

  • In a previous video I demonstrated how the QGIS Atlas tool works. This video builds on that and shows how you can show only those places that intersect the current Atlas feature. It makes things a lot less messy, visually.
    Here's the expression I use - intersects($geometry, @atlas_geometry). In the video you see there is a space after @atlas_geometry and before the final bracket - that doesn't make any difference at all, just in case you were wondering.
