There’s a difference between “accurate” and “representative”
"Representative" would be a good sequel to this video.
I expected a comparison video in how all their marketing was bullshit then proceeds to show bugs and downgrades.
Not a long winded rant on something that is redundant to anyone aware of the gaming industry....
Depends on the point of view and context
Accurate makes for a better title in this case. Appeals to more people.
Representation is just accuracy on a broad scope
Doom 2016 was actually upgraded since it's E3 reveal
He said that. But the movement was slow in comparison with the game
@@Red45Dead If it is actually better than in the demos, it will be the greatest game of the decade.
@@lolailo2199 Whoa there, contain your power level.
@Ro321chile "Doom featured... movement that's only slow compared to its originator" I.e the movement was much faster than the demo showed off, not that the movement was still too slow.
They did remove Demons moving after losing limbs though
"A metal album brought to life" is LITERALLY the perfect description of DOOM. Mick Gordon outdid himself with the soundtrack and it elevates the experience so much.

"It just works"
That's when you know a presenter is starting to grasp at straws.
Or they are secretly a JoJo fan
@Maintenance Renegade Yeah i Think they should go back a bit and look at the older games they made. Rpg game and voiced character desn't often mesh well.
This Comment JUST Works
Maintenance Renegade Personally, I like having voiced character. It makes me feel more like Im playing as a human as opposed to a telepathic murder-bot. I do agree with the backstory stuff through.
Also only choosing the “Sarcastic” option in Fallout 4 is the best, because those are definitely the best voice-acting.
@Maintenance Renegade I agree with both of you.
I'd definitely like their next game to have a voiced protagonist, but more dialogue options, which isn't that hard to pull off.
Also maybe it would benefit from having at least 3 voice options like Saints Row 3 & 4 did, so you could pick the voice that fits your character the most.
But maybe I'm asking for too much.
I really enjoyed Fallout 4 though, I made a female character and her voice actor is amazing.
She was voiced by the chick who also voiced Jack in Mass Effect. 🔥
Apart from that, I didn't like FO4's story much, but the gameplay, building, map, world exploration etc. were amazing imo.
If it had a story line and sidequests like New Vegas or The Witcher 3 it would've easily been GOTY for me.

>being a Machine Gunner in Red Orchestra
Me: we both know Triple-A is unable to do justice to the raw feeling of taming a MG-42.
Even if Battlefield V is a disaster , the only thing they handled very well and with historical accuracy should be the MG42
Red orchestra 2 was a masterpiece. Its the first and propably the last time that I actually felt I was in the game and not behind the screen. So many emotions when you were being suppressed by a fucking mg42 and waiting for him to reload to run towards the gunner.
@Enn Ess Yes you will always find a few 64 full servers no matter what time you will try.
Such a fantastic game, I do hope they make a red orchestra 3 one day.
Honestly, I loved Rising Storm Vietnam, but the post launch maps were really bad, and made me grow tired of the game.
Honestly RO2 was so good they could do a quick remaster and add a few good new maps and I’d pay $45-50 for it.
The e3 demo for uncharted 4 was completely accurate, everything that happens in it is in the final build of that level. It also shows that the game would have a slightly less linear design which it did
Meme boi G The only complaint I heard about the demo was people were upset it showcased the "best part" of the game.
@@stormblade2895 I don't think so though, the game has a lot of awesome parts and that's just one of them.
IAMA34 Oh, I definitely agree with you, I was just recalling what I've heard others say. The games a masterpiece.
@@stormblade2895 did people think the chase was the best part?
Jumbo Jango Yeah, a lot of people seem to say so.
Man. To this day, I still feel a bit "betrayed" by that Bioshock Infinite demo. I used to watch it on RUclips over and over again, trying to find little details about how the mechanics worked and taking in all the sights and sounds--it really gave me the impression that Columbia was going to be this semi-sandbox environment you would play a big role in. I was so hyped for the release I even pre-ordered the Premium Edition (and that "Beast" commercial they played on TV every break only got me more hyped). The final game was still a relatively fun ride while it lasted, but I can't help but feel it was a bit lacking.
That was the last time I ever pre-ordered a game.
@UCM1GPWUkYLiknPlaFn3ojIA True, true. I probably could've looked a bit harder at the trailers later down the line. And for all intents and purposes, the zeppelin sequence *was* still in Infinite, just in a different context. It is what it is.
I honestly still haven't watched any Cyberpunk trailers yet. Something about it makes me want to go in blind, should I decide to get it.
@@chaffXgrenade same thing happened to me with anthem haha
@@spawnofsatan117 lol
@Geralt of Trivia what the hell are you on about? Bioshock infinite is as linear as it gets, there were no semi-sandboxes, and the rail system is woefully smaller than what was shown.
@@user-og6hl6lv7p Watch out, we got a badass over here!
Raycevick is one of the best gaming content creators without a doubt. He always doing subjects no one is talking about and he always researches each subject so well. Him and Act Man are my favorites
One thing to always remember about any form of entertainment, especially video games. It's all subject to change. How a game looks 2 years into development can look completely different than 3 years. Things get cut and added as the game takes shape. All these events gives everyone an idea of the game and what their vision is for the final product. Eventually, reality hits and they need to downsize or out right cut things because of either time constraints, technological constraints, budget constraints, or it simply does not mesh well with the rest of the game.
It really is interesting to see a game take shape no matter how limited of a window you get to see it in, and events like E3 provide just that.
But sometimes they know all too well that they aren't representing the true product. Such as Anthem and Rome 2 Total War
Sudden Jormungand soundtrack in the video. I approve.
@Geralt of Trivia Noragami or Devilman Crybaby next?
Ayeee, I was going to be stumped on that for hours. Amazing anime, highly recommend it to anyone! :)

Me:
Citizen4 got me hooked on watching documentaries. It's like a real life thriller unfolding in real time
I think part of the issue lies with the extended hype cycle for certain games. As such, a demo that was constructed primarily to draw interest (and not as an intended piece of the final game) becomes its identity in the public eye. The Anthem demo comes to mind. Another great video, really thought-provoking!
Dredd would make a phenomenal open world in the right hands. So much potential. 😭
Haven't watched dredd but.. CD Project Red?
DirtyPawsRedden 1) Dredd is a comic book character. Hes also independent of the big creators (DC and Marvel) and whereas he is really popular in Europe, not so much in America. (Which is why its okay to think hes a Movie Character, since thats undoubtedly the most well known)
2)Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty close to Dredd, minus the supernatural dealings (Its pretty common in Dredd’s world to meet demons and ghosts, etc.)
I'm hoping for a dredd mod for cyberpunk maybe.

I love how this video got recommended for me just after Cyberpunk2077 released
I saw Watchdogs Legion behind closed doors at E3 and it almost made me fall asleep. That game doesn’t look real in it’s trailer, but the actual game being played in front of me looked completely different and very real, like a bunch of GTA style games that came before it. Open world - BORING.

The tragedy of Alien: Colonial Marines is that one single typo in the code completely broke the Xenomorphs' AI. I feel bad for the dev team, because that one typo utterly destroyed the legacy of the game they put so much work into.
Sometimes one mistake is needed to ruin it all
Goes to show how important a community manager with power is. Everyone knows the fix, but the studio won’t fix the typo “teather” in the .ini file. :/
Ehh not really , there is so many other problem with the game other than ai. Also , the dev didnt even make a single patch to fix it , clearly show how they didnt care about it at all. I mean , broken ai was really noticable and can easily fixed if the dev actually tested the game before releasing it , but they clearly didnt.
I remember back in the days of magazines, when E3 was an awesome event and made people mostly excited and compare it to now where every reveal, demo and announcement create doubt and uncertainty to the consumers. This is a really good video about the more recent state of the expo.

Giggled at, "Shameless plug". Always happy to see another phenomenal upload.
The most accurate was probably Zelda: Skyward Sword in 2010 - what was depicted on screen was in the end product.
This was made even better by the live demonstration of the game. There were technical glitches but, for me, seeing one of the Leads on stage trying to solve the problem enhanced the presentation.
Additionally, seeing Shigeru Miyamoto presenting a game he has worked on with genuine dedication and passion is much better than seeing a celebrity or similar person deliver a presentation, who have little or no experience making Games. =)
