You can look it from the perspective that almost every pro duelist would have made it with fnc. For Vitality they need a star duelist that can just carry sometimes
I think something that would be way more fun and interesting than a top 10 list would be the 3 all valorant teams. Basically make three 5 man teams of 1 duelist main pro, 1 controller main pro, 1 sentinel main pro, 1 initiator main pro, and 1 flex pro (must play at least 30% of games on at least 2 roles). This way we have to really look at what makes a good fit for each role and the final list isn't basically half duelists.
Honestly it would be kinda boring because essentially three slots are already filled: Asap duelist, forsaken flex, alfa sentinel. After that, there still isn't much variety anyways.
@@aryanbanda5800 That is only for the first team. There are still teams 2 and 3 which is likely where it will get more interesting. Some of these top 10 guys will fall out because they are not top 3 at their role and other people will get those spots.
Also Woot would probably qualify as a flex so even team 1 flex debate between woot and forsaken would need to happen.
@@aryanbanda58001. The team based „all Valorant team“ would probably be a better idea for the entire year instead of just Champs 2. Alfajer isn‘t a Sentinels player anymore lmao 3. Forsaken isn’t the best flex player 4. really only Aspas would be an obvious pick and Texture for 2nd team, everything else is incredibly up for debate

Well controller players are usually Igls. And igls wont get recognized in such lists cuz its a list about the individual player and not the team. Players like boaster give up their acs for other players. He gives other player from fnc the spotlight. Im not saying that he wouldve made it in the list if he wasnt an igl, just that igls usually play to win.

Duelist is generally seen as the role that needs the most mechanical skill, thats why there are more duelists on this list, also i think the whole community can agree that aspas and texture should be on the list. That leaves 8 players picked by tmv, so he only picked 3 duelists by himself

Not including IGLing makes sense, but is kinda fucked. IGLing is really hard to measure, but it impacts the game a lot. I have Munchkin in my top 10. Best Guardian player in the world, good IGL.
It makes it way harder though. Because now suddenly valyn is 100% on that list. And then you've got boaster possibly fighting for a spot for bringing fnatic back to the top. Really muddies it all up
@@joshchambers9922 yeah it’s a weird thing for sure, especially because the IGL role and the responsibilities therein are not standardized. That’s why I think it make sense not to include it.
I have Valyn in my top 10 as well. I think he, like Munchkin, shines on an individual level in a way that most IGLs don’t, over the entirety of Stage 2 + playoffs. To me, that’s enough to rate you higher than like a Riens. (Who is really good, don’t get me wrong)

I think one of the players that stands out to me the most who is underrated and not alot of people talk about him, is Smoggy from EDG.

He uses chat for tie brakers. It is based on Performance but one man alone cant decide. Instead of chat he should have someone else to break the ties. But this was still his ranking
Would like to see your average all their stats at the end of champs (mean FK/FD, mean K/D, mean ADR etc.) and see where the top10 average ranks for each stat.
Forsaken at 8 is crazy bro can play any agent, and is still the most consistent in the entire PRX squad 💀💀

Derke is wild imo when you got players like mazino and contender for best IGL Valyn in honorable mentions lol but my goat aspas is #1 so idc that's all that matters
Edit: IGLing wasn't including but that's just crazy considering they the most important aspect and from the outside looking in you can see when a good IGL is just running circles around their opponent. (not a G2 fan btw the man just too good at IGL)
I agree with you on the IGLing aspect. But its really hard to meassure. Igls give up the spotlight and their own Performance for the team and the victory. Also I think Derke isnt that wild. He is a little rusty and maybe not in the top 10 but i can see why he put him on there

So one of my teammates is a KAYO main. He gets tons of assists every match. I played KAYO for one game and realized that you get an assist for every one that is suppressed from your ult. Moral of the story.. KAYO ASSIST STATS ARE BOOSTER BECAUSE THEY PUSHED ONE BUTTON.

Igl stand for in game leader. They make the strats on the spot. Its one of the most important aspects in a round of valorant. They give up their personal acs and spotlight for team and for the victory. They usually play a controller

(H2H: Sayf went crazy in the playoffs with Neon and Raze, and has the better Raze compared to Derke, Narrate interestingly performed the best as a Jett statistics wise, had Derke played Jett more as he usually performs the best on Jett he would be more of a challenger, as it's Sayf's Neon and Raze vs Derke's Raze, Iso and Yoru and Derke only diffs him in on Yoru)
Smokes: TH Boo
Int: VIT Trexx / KC Narrate
(genuine toss-up, both incredibly impactful to their seeding and playoffs run, leaning more towards Narrate as Trexx's Fade is diffed by Narrate and Woot, and despite his consistent impact with Sova, Narrate's Gekko and ability to flex over on Jett wins him the spot)
Sentinel: FNC Alfajer (no diffs everyone and elevated to match Chronicle's performance in the playoffs with his Cypher often given to Hiro, impressive)
Flex: FNC Chronicle (monster)
CHINA:
IGL: EDG Nobody
Duel: EDG Zmjjkk (FPX Life is statistically the better Raze, but Kangkang beats him on Neon, Jett and even Yoru)
Smokes: BLG Flex1n
(FPX Lysoar was the more consistent Omen, however Flex1n's Brim carried BLG through maps when Whzy and Yosemite were getting shut down in the playoffs)
Int: FPX AAAY
(4 way tie if we disregard AAAY's Kayo, due to Nephh being by far the best Gekko, AAAY's Breach, Nobody's Fade and Biank's Sova all being their best agents, and everything else is ranked accordingly,
Sentinel: TE Kai / EDG CHICHOO
(TE Kai was the best KJ in the playoffs, as well as the best Jett, Chichoo was all around the best Cypher and flexed over to Viper to various degrees of success, the Chinese scene is in the same 2023 role swap turmoil the other 3 regions had previously, KJ is the more prevalent Sentinel agent thus, TE Kai is the better of the 2 imo)
Flex: FPX Autumn
(dominant Clove on Icebox, outclassed Yosemite on Viper, decent showing on Cypher (his stats are lowered because EDG rolled them over) and of the 3 players on the SAME TEAM who played Kayo, Autumn's Kayo looked the most well drilled and impactful.)

Good list, 2 things wrong tho. KC N4RRATE isn't in champs, and boaster is absolutely not the best emea smokes player in champs. Best igl sure, not skill.

For EMEA's smokes i gave it to Boaster because i just stats watched and saw Boaster's numbers higher than most, but in actuality, Atakaptan, Boo were both proven better smokes players, Atakaptan consistently found value and opened win cons for Fut and Boo was handed some crazy situations to clutch.
From the two of those candidates, it'd be TH Boo

MVP happened about 3 years ago tbf. This is about current form and current form I don't think TenZ makes the top 10. Sentinels have looked pretty damn poor compared to their Split 1 performances nearly this ENTIRE split. So yes, it's only natural for Tenz to fall off this list

CONTEXT: Flashback allegedly SA'd her ex and was having an affair w/someone. To be honest, Flashback wasn't mentioned but people think it was him since it was a VALORANT team that reached the lower final from Korea, so players are concluding that it's from DRX and Flashback was the only player that took a break during April and came back at Split 2.
Right now, no hate to flashback. All rumours. No confirmation, we'll see at 3 days when champions players are locked in. It's a big allegation and it put him in such a rough spot if it isn't true.
