Thanks. It's just meant to touch the most basic elements. The one confusion I need to fix is that the examples of "standard form" arguments are all syllogisms, and of course, a standard form argument need not be a syllogism.

Argument is sound, because argument is concluding therefore conclusion make sound. What about this ?
