When tracing onto the fondant, does the graphite from the pencil transfer over? Is this food safe? Also, do you normally work with ganache on these cakes or can you also use buttercream? I imagine ganache sets firmer.
Hi there thank you for your message. If you research more about it you will see that now we can get pencils with no carbon or any lead metal. I prefer work with ganache ratio 3 x 1 because Australia is very hot and humid.
