A new season of Degrassi: Next Class always bring me to amazing deep songs like these that are just so moving. It can't get any better than that. I'll always welcome that consistency when a new season premieres.
This song is amazing and the reason it’s soo touching is because, of the setting and atmosphere, it absolutely works. I researched this song and the man you see in the video with the big massive beard went to this ‘school’ in Chernobyl before the meltdown happen. He lost his children because of the meltdown tragedy, as you can see at the end when he looks at his locket at the end of the music video. This song needs more attention and the eerie voices of children singing is what they say you hear sometimes while entering the school now.
