Let's talk about this pack. I own one. I own the X-Pac TBP3Sm. It is the bomb. I use it for both travel and EDC. It has been on my overseas trips and it has been to my office (every day). While I do agree that it might be a big large for most people, it works for me. I can carry a laptop, keyboard, mouse, ipad, EDC kit, First aid kit, 2x bento lunch boxes and we've not gotten to the admin pouch. The upside of the X-pac (and the reason I would steer you to this pack vs. the original) is 1) It doesn't need a rain cover. I've taken it out in a decent thunderstorm and while the exterior got wet, the interior didn't. 2) It is ORANGE on the inside. When you are on a flight and the pack is under the seat in front of you (which, BTW, fully packed out does fit under the seat in front of you even in coach), you can open it and actually see inside. 3) It is durable. Between the flying I do (a lot) and taking the pack to work (which I do every day), it gets a workout. While the X-pac does not hold it's shape as well as the original, I prefer the fact that it can take a beating better than the original (which by the way is no slouch). I also purchased the optional hip belt, which you may not really need, but for me works when it is packed full and is heavy. The bag is not cheap. With the hip belt it was just under $300. However, Aer has a lifetime guarantee for their packs against defects (not for ordinary wear and tear). If it fails where it shouldn't, then Aer will send you another pack. So a review within a review. You should really buy the bag. BTW: Aer did not send me a bag for free. I bought mine...and bought one for my son for his birthday. He travels as much as I do and he absolutely loves it.
Hey there! This was not an AD. Aer sent me this backpack for review, however everything I said in the video is my own opinion. I have a lot of backpacks, and this one is top 3 for sure. Quality all the way around.
@@JevonBower So 100% honest opinion, 1/10 quality, and will it fit a Dimensions (H x W x D) 22.1-25.2mm x 359.6mm x 264.8mm / 0.87″-0.99″ x 14.16″ x 10.43″ Lenovo gaming laptop? I need this for travel for UNDER the seating.
I like both, the backpack I’m currently testing is x-pac but I think I prefer the feel and texture of Ballistic Nylon. It’s super durable, stout, and plenty water resistant for my needs.
have fun in Greece and Bali! would love to hear your update as I’m considering it for my daily pack that i can also use for a short trip. much love from Cyprus 🤙
@@bloo_110 Hey so i am still in vacation and it is EPIC. Totally worth every scent of it = not joking. Keep in mind that you also have to pay customs. For me it was +80€ from the original price - so it gets slightly expensive. But is so so so good. My girlfriend bought the tomtoc version from Amazon though which is way cheaper but is super good too. So to sum it up, i would totally suggest it !
@@christophervradis7285 hey! i don’t see a reply, not sure if youtube on my phone is acting up or the comment didn’t come through. either way would love to hear how your trip went!

Great info! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Oof. Just got the regular one on sale. Wishing I opted for the xpac now, considering it’s more water resistant and lighter
That olive looks so good.
I’ve been looking all over the place to see additional images or videos of the olive and/or the gray colors on Aer bags
me too, i’m not sure between the olive, gray or navy and i haven’t seen any photos or videos of the gray or navy either
I bought one and I’ll be taking it with me to Japan in a month and see how well I do with just this bag for 3 weeks!
Any update?
Update?
How’d it go?
Long story short I broke up with my gf and didn’t go to Japan 😭😭😭 but I’m sure it would have been everything I ever wanted in a travel backpack
@@Phlfwlr 🙁sorry to hear that! Hope and prayers for peace and healing from that, thanks for your response
This review really convinced me to purchase the TP3S!
Think it could be a personal
Carryon with a roller carry on?
I think it depends on your Airline. @Dannypacks was able to use it as a personal item on a flight but I can’t remember which airline it was..
Sure! Not issues with AA.
I bought the city pro and it fits in personal sizers for AA, easy jet.
Can you please check if a 40oz tumbler fits in the tumbler pocket? Thank you! :3
So sorry for the delay! I’ve been out with a new baby.
My 40oz hydroflask fits in the side pocket when unzipped! It’s actually perfect
Would you recommend it as a student backpack?
I think it might be a little big for a student to be honest..
I think it's good but I'm pretty big (195cm) 😂
I'm curious about this too because I'm an audio student so I have to carry a very large headphone case as well as my lunchbox/books
Is this fit under airplane seat?

Looks like the shoulder straps do not tuck away. Is this correct?
Got a discount code?
Unfortunately they did not provide a discount code this time.. sorry man!
what's the pills container you use?
They’re just a generic brand on Amazon!
So would you stick with cordura or would you get the x pac

@@JevonBower I just ordered one in olive!! I’m heading to Africa in July so I’m stoked!
