I can't imagine being such a miserable person that I'd write another person negative things and try to bring them down. Hopefully they realize that's not normal and get some help.

I believe most of us here are just wanting to witness someone moving through grief and tackling some of the realities of dealing with a hoard of a loved one. Not to excuse anyone's rude behavior in criticizing a grieving daughter tackling such a huge project, but I have noticed people seem to confuse real life with entertainment. This is your real life, not a scripted drama. You are brave and hardworking and there is a fellowship here among those of us who had to work alone to clean out a parental home. You are making such great progress. It's a lovely house and you are a lovely person.

Mindy, please don’t be disturbed by the rude comments. I’ve seen so much of that lately on social media and I don’t know why people are so very rude. I, for one, am truly thankful you have taken the extra time and work to do this. I have been cleaning out my mother’s house for over a year now. It was so comforting to run across your blog. I felt you were the only person who truly understood what I was going thru. I don’t see how on earth you’ve accomplished what you have while filming and editing these but I’m so thankful you did. I look forward to each episode, have learned a lot, and watch re-runs of older shows in case there was something I missed. Keep up the good work. I know you are looking forward to the end as I am. We can rest assured that we respected our Mother’s wishes.

Seeing your Grandma 's Pineapple 4 post bed frame triggered my memory of my own Grandma's Pineapple 4 post bed frame. You are doing great going through all the items preparing for the holiday items sale. ❤ I have some boxes of holiday items in plastic sterlite containers in a side hallway that have never moved to the crawl space. The best advice I have heard came from a Dollar Tree cashier....she said she buys holiday display items, uses the items, then trashes the items, buying new display items next year. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on the experience of grief when a loved one leaves many items for us to clean up after the loved one is gone. 😢
Mindy you have inspired me to help my mom start decluttering our home. She has late stage Parkinson’s & dementia & all the cleaning is falling to me. We are starting now! We appreciate you & the grief you are going through ❤

Would it work to put all the Halloween in the spare bedroom and make the living room area all Christmas ? What a massive job - when you showed the shed I was shocked at how much you still needed to bring in the house - you are doing an amazing job!

Actually your videos are helping me declutter my home from unused items. My sister and I had to work fast in getting rid of my stepdad’s things and I do not want my kids to go through the same thing. Look at the positive comments, because you really are helping others through your videos. And thank you for sharing your dear parents home and opening up with us your grieving process which can’t be easy. Sending you positive thoughts and remember only remember the good comments.

I read an article once that said some people are definitely more appealing to mosquitoes than others. It has something to do with the blood and one’s genetics. I also get eaten alive, so I can relate what you’re going through! 11:31

It's always easy to be negative from the anonymity of a phone. People often don't realize what impact negative comments can have on someone. I have great respect for people who put their real life on social media, not some filtered, beautified and perfect version. I could and never would do that because I know that I could not handle negativity. So I never comment in a negative way, even when I dislike somebody's voice or speaking style or whatever. Who am I to criticize? Could I do it "better"? Probably not. There are so many channels out there where people just share their own life. They often don't have a professional background on speaking or filming. Yet they do have a positive impact on many others. So kudos to everyone who shares their own raw life here. And hopefully some of those negative people will learn something. I still have hope. 🙂

I just want to say that you have helped me SO much following the death of both my parents over the last 2 years, and having to deal with hoarder tendencies, we have huge amounts to do still and watching you over this period of time has helped me to process my thoughts in a gradual way. Unlike many you tubers you are not fake, you are being you and that is so helpful for this, knowing that others are going through it. I’ve been watching a great series on Swedish death cleaning. We really shouldn’t leave all our ‘treasures' for family to sort out. I’m a minimalist so like you I just don’t understand why people need to have all that stuff. As you said she enjoyed the shopping but the dopamine rush goes so quickly which is why the things were often unopened and squirrelled away. I would feel like you about getting some monetary reward for all the work you are putting in. You deserve it. It’s an onerous task but you are coping well. 🥰

Ignore the Negative Nelly's. They aren't even worth your time and energy. You are doing an excellent job, and your videos help a lot of people. I have learned many things from you. I just recently helped a family member clear out her parents' home. I only helped for a few days, and not only was it physically exhausting, but it was emotionally exhausting, too. Hang in there! The house will be completely cleared out soon, and you can then rest knowing that you gave it your all.
Taking vitamin B complex helps me to get less mosquito bites. I used to get eaten alive by those pests and now I only get a few bites. Best of luck with it. Keep up the good work. Bless you for your efforts and working through your grief. I lost my mom in April of this year. 💔

The backyard stepping stones look great! What an improvement. I would do just what you’re doing - taking the empty boxes to the shed. My son once asked me why I had so many empty boxes. I explained that when the time comes to donate things, I’ll be happy to have them. I get it! I’m enjoying seeing your progress. Keep it up, but get your rest.

Watching your videos is helping me. My EX was a hoarder. Trying to work full time and go through things he has left in my house. I need to buckle down and get done. So my son isn't left with this mess.

I’ve watched you from day one. Please ignore those negative people & comments, you are doing a great job .
In 2020 I was left 2 houses of hoarders and I wish I had had someone like you then, it felt like I was the only one in the world going through all the grind of sorting everything out.
What it has all done for me is teach me to sort my own stuff out not leave it for anyone else to deal with and also think twice before buying anything .
Just a little advice don’t keep too much stuff yourself because four years on I’m now sorting and disposing again lol.
Good luck with your next sale, we don’t really do house/ garage sale here in the UK.

You are here for us who appreciate you and what you are going through. Some ppl are just jerks bc they don’t like themselves so they take it out on others. All JERKS just move on! You are doing a great job! I enjoy watching. If you plan to sell that ladder your woodworking guy or painter guy might take money off your bill in lieu of the ladder. We did that with someone working for us and got $70 off our bill.

I've been watching your videos since the beginning. I'm drawn to them because of who you are. It's a big task you've had to deal with. Yet no matter how hard this has all been, you've never express anger towards your mother. I appreciate that you've shared so much of your journey. Sympathies for your mosquito problem. I'm suddenly having that issue too. Maybe one got in and laid eggs in the still water in a drain in an unused bathroom. Advice I found online seems promising: "Pour dish washing liquids down the drain. The soap creates a sticky film that stops larvae and pupae from breathing and traps mosquitoes that land there." Good luck to both of us with this vexing itchy issue.

I watch this channel because I went through a similar situation clearing out my parents home. Many people have to settle their parents estates. I appreciate the way you are processing it all. It is overwhelming but you are making noticeable improvements with each episode. I realize you are not a professional organizer and that is what makes you more relatable. You are also doing this without help or other family members. That is harder but at least there are no family members to start arguments with and question your methods. You are doing great. Don’t let the negative people get you down.

Some of us have experienced similar losses with our parent(s). Cleaning out our Mother’s home is one of the hardest things we daughters go through in life, especially when it’s the home we grew up in. Every thing and every room holds memories.
It’s wonderful to seeing you making so much progress. Bringing Coco with you and staying for an extended time is working. The transformation in the yard must make you feel good every time you drive up the street. It looks terrific!

First of all, this is your channel. You do what you want to do because it is yours. That is your choice. Everyone else also has a choice. They can watch it or they can move on. Quite frankly, I look forward to your videos because Even though the absolute clutter of your mother‘s home causes me stress way over here in Canada, you as a person, are so dynamic and so energetic and so determined and most of all, you’re so real. I have really enjoyed watching you somewhat blossom since you started this channel. Yes of course you’re frustrated and you’re tired, but you’re doing it! Just block the haters. And remember that what people think of you is none of your business.
I like you because you're authenticly you. Don't change in any way. Live Abuse Free RUclipsr got comments about not wearing makeup, etc. I think it's people that have low self esteem, maybe not nice looking and compensate by bullying others online. Block them!

Those people who are leaving mean comments are dumb and immature jerks. Thousands of people are loving your videos, including me, and they're helping us with our own grief. I have appreciated you showing your ups and downs and seeing that you're going to be OK in the end. Seeing you overcome every problem you've come across is so uplifting. You are a strong woman and are a great example for the rest of us. My mom is 90 and is slowly winding down so I'm learning a lot from you and I hope I'm able to handle it as well you are, when the time comes.

Ignore the haters! Block them from your channel. The living room is going to be a holiday store! The sale should do well. Check the tires that are by the glass sliding door. If there is any standing water in them, after it rained, that is a good place for the mosquitoes to breed. I'm also someone who the bugs attack!
