Chrisette, I will never forget that Sunday when we went to New Birth, and they weren't sure if they were going to let you sing. Then word came that John Gray had said that Bishop Long should let you sing before he did his sermon. And you got a 10,000 person standing ovation afterward. And it was amazing that you said that the music director ask you what song you wanted to sing, and the song you select was a song that they had rehearsed all week. It was an amazing performance and I really wish that you would do a gospel album. It was so much fun when we went upstairs and while waiting for the pastor that Bernice King sat with you and your mother. She was a very private person and it was unusual that she would spend time with someone that she didn't know. That was a great day. And the only bad part was that I had to drive you in my old hooptie Chrysler Town and Country with the missing hub caps. That was the day after your Sugarhill show and week after you were at the Grammy Awards.
