    Just wanted to comment and say my family and I love to come back to this video and watch it. My name is ADAM KING Eddies grandson and now big game guide as well we still use the same cabin as our base of operations to this day.

      Adam, how cool is that! Your grandfather guided some legends. My dad loved hunting Alaska. The moose footage is some of my favorite. My dad is no longer with us, but the moose still hangs above the fireplace at my parents' home & the caribou hangs close by. It's impressive to look at.

    I just discovered this video, and am rather pleased to have found it. I have read many of Jim Dougherty's articles in years past. He is one of the great bowhunters in American history. The thing I noticed in this video is that he was a left handed shooter, just like Fred Bear. I also noticed he was a deadly shot, especially at long ranges, and with a recurve.....Wow! Thanks for posting this.

      Dad actually started shooting right handed. He was right handed. I believe he switched because of an elbow problem. But honestly I can't remember. Glad you enjoyed it!
