Sand from Dollar Tree would of been nice in place of the Spanish Moss in your first project.

Love the sail boat project, soooo cute. In the last project you could also use a mason jar and fill it with sand and shells and add the LED candle. Something easy and fun to add to your summertime decor. Thanks for all you do, very inspirational.

What a beautiful DYI. so creative. I live in Newberg, Oregon and have not been to the coast in
a while. When I was little and went to the the beach in Longview Washington. Would always find sand dollars. What a clever idea for the buoy..I kind of like the contrast of the crackle effect. What a cute decore piece.

Hi Chantel. These are great! I love the make over on the sailboat. The glue gun is pretty sweet. Where would I get one? My gun has so many glue strings. Not sure if it gets to hot or what, but I've gotten so many burns from it. Have a blessed week 🙏 ❤️

they have crackel medium for chalk paint

I know you can get it at craft stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby but I think I have seen it at Walmart as well.

I don't do a ton of decorating for 4th of July, but I will be doing some patriotic DIYs soon so maybe I will include a home tour of some of my decor with that.
Where do u get your paint brushes at/brand? I bought a few of the 3pks of the crafters square black handle thin brushes and they are horrible...tried them today and all the bristle kept coming out and getting stuck in the item I was painting lol
Hi Stacey. I usually buy my brushes at Michaels. I think it's worth paying more for higher quality brushes.
