Hey Paul! At 8:55 you passed the Black Forest restaurant. Their 2 for 1 schnitzel's on Sunday's are to die for, and is a a guaranteed stop for us every time we come down to La Cruz. You can feed 4 people for the price of two. Throw in a cold German beer and your in heaven! Yvonne and her staff are just Aces! The best kinda people you can know and feel embraced by. 15/10 you gotta go there.
I always see it and think to myself that some time I need to try it. I will take Daniela there on our next trip to La Cruz. Thanks for the recommendation 😉
@@MovingToMexiCo good to know. I was so surprised! So many ways to get into the marina though. You should do a story on Ricardo. He is a hard working young man and does the swim team, scuba diving, hiking, paddle boarding, surfing, etc. Super nice young man.
We live in Colorado, and are planning our move for next summer! Coming in July for the month, too. Bucerias and La Cruz are on the short list. :) We love you guys! You've been a huge help and inspiration. Big thanks!
We are from Alberta Canada and plan on retiring in Mexico. Not for a while but we are doing all of our research and visiting different places to visit.
Thank you! Great tips and love that you list street names where you walk. We hope to visit Lo a Cruz next winter. Your content is so informative. You do great work.👍🙏
Great video. Love the drone shots. We were down at the Sunday arket a couple of times this winter and took a whale watching tour from there. It is a nice spot an deasy to get there by bus from Bucerias.
We were actually in LA Cruz Huanaxtle right before the Pandemic started in March of 2020. After getting home to Ontario Canada, we went through employment and economic troubles thanks to the lockdowns. This was our second trip to Mexico. We have missed it ever since we left. 😪 Wonderful video, Paul. Thanks so much for sharing.
I've never been to La Cruz in all the years visiting Bucerias. Thanks for the quick tour, town looks cool but the beach in Bucerias seems much nicer. Would housing be less expensive in La Cruz compared to Bucerias?
Oh yeah, totally planning on moving back to beautiful Mexico!!!! 😊 I'm in Wisconsin, need more sunshine, nicer people, better food, no cruddy political stuff, just can't take it anymore. Returning to Guanajuato in August to renew my temp res. It expires September 9. Cannot wait to sell everything and take the cats and head back down. I miss it soooo much! Got fluent Spanish under my belt so that helps. Love your channel!!! 😊
@@MovingToMexiCo I lived in Guadalajara and Guanajuato back in 2011 and 2012. Came back to get my bachelor's degree and then got stuck. Sigh...life took me on a roller coaster ride and I'm finally getting off. Yay!!! 🥳😊
Thanks for another great video, Paul! I already live in Bucerias full time, but I moved here from Washington, DC. The nation's capital. Or as we from Washington like to call it..."The Heart of Darkness". Love the videos and I always look for you when I am gimping (I'm 77) around Bucerias. Much love to you and the family.
Awesome video, Paul! Did you walk all the way to the Marina from Bucerias? Or did you drive and park? Isn't it a few miles away? Is it possible to ride a bike in the neighborhood streets to the Marina from Bucerias? We will be there in Bucerias in Feb. Long time subscribers to your channe and Joel's channel 👍 we love when you post new videos!! 😁👍🇲🇽👋
Hola Paul, love your videos. We in southern Colorado. Getting tired of the cold and snow. We would like to move to the San Pancho area, not sure if we can afford it though.
I moved from Houston to Mexico and the friendly indigenous peoples have got me believing I'm in a new world like the cistine prophecy. truth is these people have lived this way for centuries and I'm only just learning how to relax 😂😂
I moved to Mazatlan last Nov but looking for a smaller city and more beachy vibe. Bucerias looks promising but the prices everywhere for rentals is discouraging.
Moving to Bucerias.. fleeing Utah.. O only have one wife now.. can't afford the others.. let me know if you know anyone that wants to start a pickleball CC.

Another fantastic walking video. Thanks Paul.
Thank you Bruce!
The best crew to hang around in la cruz.

Very cool.
Welcome
I’ve never been stopped going into the marina there. Interesting.
It’s only because I was filming.

Very interesting, fun exploring the different neighborhoods.
I’m glad you enjoyed it 😃
We were in La Cruz in February and plan to move to Mexico within the next couple of years.
Very cool! Which towns are on your short list?
We love Bucerias! But wanting to check out Huatuco
El Ring with Juan and Lupe! Great food! Great people!!
Ok I’ll have to go. Thanks 🙏

I’m very sorry to hear that. I really like the town of La Cruz. Thank you for watching 🙌
@@MovingToMexiCo we liked LA Cruz as well.

La Cruz prices are similar to Bucerias.
You should stop in at La Pastleria de Huanacaxle, they have delicious pastries and specialty coffees. 💖
Will do! Thanks for the recommendation.

Leaving Seattle WA. For Bucererias January 2025. Can't wait.

I drove and parked. Riding a bike isn’t a good option unless you’re comfortable riding on the highway. It’s an easy bus ride. Thanks for coming along!
Oh la la my wife and I can't wait until our three weeks in La Cruz in January of 2025.

I would love to move there, a little anxious and need a remote job, but would love to live in Bucerias. I am from the DFW Metroplex, North Texas.
Yes I would focus on getting a remote job before moving.
I moved to Mazatlan last Nov but looking for a smaller city and more beachy vibe. Bucerias looks promising but the prices everywhere for rentals is discouraging.
Bucerias is more pricey than Mazatlan. There are some relatively cheaper options up the coast from bucerias.
@@MovingToMexiCo I looked into lo de marcos but there aren’t a lot of housing options.
The closed to the beach more expensive
canada alberta it sucks right now with our government and the tax tax tax
I’m hearing that a lot these days. No bueno.
Arizona. Thinking about some place near PV or Mazatlan. La Cruz just might fit the bill. Are there many rentals there? ( Both short and long term.
I like PV and Mazatlan. Yes there are rentals in La Cruz.
