    Excellent. Thank you Prof Vest. Your points about biased (colonial) interpretations of Akan & other African Philosophy are crucial. Additionally, thanks for the tools to read Prof Gyeke & other philosophers accurately, learning to separate their convictions from their critiques. I'd be interested in learning more from you about the facile distinction you make, on Gyeke's behalf, in minute 9, between thought and consciousness.

    Okra = Soul. According to the Akans, the Soul never dies. Akans believe in re-incarnation.

    Okra = Soul, Sunsum = Spirit, and Honam = Body. This is what the Christian stole and called it Trinity.
