Hi Peter 100% agree at 54 years young!i`ve owned evos wrxs lotus elise 2.9 gen 2 987 etc and after having my 981 2.7 triple black boxster for just over a year i am defo keeping it! A big thanks to you for making me aware firstly of the led light bar and since fitting it just bought and fitted the new same steering wheel same as yours from William From William posting it to arriving took just 10 days to here in the UK and took 10 minutes to fit,no airbag light and has transformed the drive with the flappy paddles instead of the rubbish buttons on original wheel!! So a massive thanks to both you&William keep up the great videos mate All the best Alaster
Spot on Peter-I know you mentioned getting a GTS previously, but you don't really need to as you elegantly explained. I might get a new steering wheel from that bloke at some point as I've got the old buttons on my 2014 Cayman , but agin they're not that bad and I can always use the gearstick if I want a bit more involvement.
Absolutely agree, and thanks to Jeff Richardson I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about my 981 Boxster S, done a lot of my own servicing, and realized just how amazingly well engineered these cars are. I know I will seriously regret it if I sell this car and at 65 it’s now my retirement hobby as well. I love the light strip, it looks OEM, hopefully I can acquire one in Canada, Great video as always, thank you. 🇨🇦
Peter its a keeper. The 718 quality started to fall off like the 991 and 992 models. If you want to change then the 997.2 is the model to go for, Enjoy

I was just saying the same the other day. I had a 911 997 and the 981 beats it hands down. I could not sell my 981 S. ;-)
