In the Latin American Spanish dub Rock is voiced by a male actor in his early teens, he has done plenty of work in various media, though I heard his in Demon Slayer where he voiced Genya as a kid in season 3
I grew up with the Japanese one so I've always known is as "Rock-man" so idk if the English version Mega-man was ever named Rock but I loved that they stuck with the Rock name. That Dr Wily theme poppin up was also amazing. I've listened to Okkusenman way too many times
As far as I can tell, for the English version, "Rock" was awknowledged as Mega Man's origional name in the opening of Mega Man 4. Roll is name-dropped at the end of Mega Man 3. In the 1994 Ruby Spears cartoon, Mega Man is called "Rock" in episode 1 before subsequently going by Mega Man for the rest of the show, and he's "Rock" in his "civilian identity" in the Archie comics. Rock is well-known as Mega Man's "real name" in the English speaking fanbase at this point. The "Powered Up!" Mega Man 1 remake retconned his name to "Mega" in his pre-Mega Man identity, for some reason, but this was immediately retconned back to "Rock" since the U.S. Mega Man 9 website called him "Rock." He was called "Mega" in the Mega Man 11 game, but that's more likely a shortening of "Mega Man" as an additional nickname rather than taking the place of "Rock." The names have always been a bit... inconsistent in English. Dr. Light has been called Dr. Right and even Dr. Wright in the past (technically both Light and Right are correct, since Thomas Light was changed to Tadashi Hikari in Battle Network, suggesting the Right/Light double meaning is intentional, but Light appears to be the accepted English name now), Wily is at times spelled "Wiley", and "Blues" has been mistranslated as "Bruce" once or twice.
the best short and only got 5 freaking MINUTES......yet CONCORD got 18 and was a waste of space, animation talent and more important....TIME....MEGAMAN COULD HAVE USE.
Weird....isn't Metalman made by Willy not Light? Also if they can pulled this off, it's bullshit they can't give us proper Rockman/Megaman animated movie/series XD
The absolute crime commited here was that this was the shortest of all the episodes.
Now this was an episode OF Secret level that was enjoyable
I can already fantasize a Megaman TV series or movie done in this manner.
Like Astroboy the movie?
@@stevenewhen Sort of. Something like that.
That'd Megaman NT Warrior or Rockman as it is called in Japan
I love that he finally has a proper boy voice for Eng, not overly girly or too grown up like in mm8 and mm11

The VA for Megaman Legends was great. ML2...not so much...
We need this as a full series this isn’t good enough
Dr.light look like a scientist version of santa claus.
That's he was kind of inspired by lol
He IS inspired by Saint Nick lol 😂
He always looked like that
Believe it or not the Creator actually modeled him after Santa Claus just like how they model DR Wiley after Albert Einstein
As he should.
Dr. Light: Dr. Wowee's turned Metal Man
Doctuh Wahwee in the wild
Voice acting is peak
Man, this is incredible regardless of language. Both teams of VA's did a fantastic job!

At this point it’s accepted that Rock is his real name while Mega Man is sort of his hero name.
In Megaman 11 English dub, Rock's name is Mega
@@kepokpisang just like in powered up. A stupid name cuz it kinda kills a pun/reference

Thank you for bringing back Okami and Onimusha. Now, bring him back, Capcom.
capcom did confirm they now have 1 studio/team made especifically to make megaman games so we have that
You just had Megaman 11 what the heck, lemme have Dino Crisis first
I DO want this become the series we can enjoy. Rock is kinda cute by the way. Love the voice acting. Sounds professional and... soft.
Science Dads and their robot/cyborg kids always gets me strangely emotional 🥺
The shots are greatly animated. It's a shame I don't have access to Amazon Prime tho
Pirate lol
@ryuusaki7309 Nah, I'd be a fair person and wait until TV release (even if it doesn't happen)
it hits different in Japanese, everyone knows that
I actually like this
*_Best Japanese dub for me!_*
lets hope they make a 30 minute sequel to this episode in season 2
gonna rewatch the cartoon now
Mega Man:"Man this Secret Level turn dark story!"
"Wasted!"
Mega man has always been a dark series. Mega man Zero.
@@cloneshiny5226 the classic series (altho had some pretty fucked up lore) was more lighthearted. It was only in the X series that it got all dark

Who is voicing him in both English and Japanese?
Alkaio Thiele in English, no info on Japanese so far, sorry
@ This Alkaio Thiele person sounds new.
@@dnkakusei The info is on the credits of the episode.
Rock: Sara Matsumoto / Dr. Light: Chafūrin
@ Oh, thank you! I dont have Amazon Prime Video so I wasnt able to check
@@SolCresta3405 He voiced Spidey in Season 3 of Spidey and Amazing Friends.
What makes me sad is how short this episode was ... I wanted so much more....But yet they give Concord a long episode and no one cares about it.
Awh no Zero vs x gonna be heartbreaking.... Well if they wanna make that universe ofc
If you watch the Japanese dub does the title come up as Rockman? Cuz that’s Megaman’s name in Japan
I love megaman 8 ost
looks like the buzz lightyear movie did they also made this?

No, 6 boss of megaman 1 are all industrial robots made by dr.light, later hijacked by willy
@@sunnychan5859 Um...Metalman is from Rockman 2, and 6 you mentioned is from 1 including Bombman....
@@elwinxiao lol you’re right, i was mistaken I thought you mean bombman in the show, yeah metal man is Willy’s work in the megaman wiki
is this a movie or a show, i want to watch this now
Eu vir uma parte da cenas do megaman e esta legal.
I can't find it on Amazon prime
I found it, it's called Secret Level 🤔
Would faint if it were based on Megaman Legends
"Exclaims"
Aku malah suka dua2 sub dub ok lah rockman megaman cakep
Watch the Brazilian dubbing
Who voices him?
@@jgv6323
Rock:Thomas Raszl
DR.Light: João Francisco
@soldieboy658 eu ia preferir se uma mulher adulta dublasse o Rock mas blz né
The Japanese version sounds more "realistic" with how they look. While the English sort of captures the exaggerated acting you'd hear in 80s cartoons.
The Japanese version seems much cooler to me.
Why didn't they just make a mega Man CGI movie
