Szoboszlai 2nd best player (with Salah as motm) on the pitch according to sofascore, yet still people question him every time. He's created a big chance, 3 key passes, a beautiful dribble in the middle, passing to Trent breaking away, accurate long balls, 91% pass accuracy. I honestly don't know how he's still perceived as underperforming every game. He runs so much, and still contributes a lot. His passing improved, although I see he sometimes has shaky touches. But overall he's been massively underrated in the second half of last season as well cause he was playing the role of a workhorse, doing extremely useful but not flashy things. In the meantime, Macca is perceived as consistent and sound even when he's really underwhelming (8 out of 11 ground duels lost, 6 out of 7 dribbles unsuccessful, no key passes). It's just baffling to me.
What??? Szobo is absolute BOSS! It was from his pass that the second goal came with a little help and in the second half he played perfectly! Helloooooooooo....
Good second half after a dire first half. I think the injury to Wes Burn helped us quite a bit, but taking nothing away from Salah who was excellent as always and integral in both goals. Get him tied down for another 2 years at least please 🙏
Liverpool won and that’s what matters. But I wonder if this is how Slot is going to keep the team playing🙄because it wasn’t very convincing. Mac Allister and Ryan as DMs is a problem. Jota is not really known for playing as a lone striker let alone as an effective one. Salah scored but you can tell he does better being deployed as a RWF. This current squad of players isn’t good or known for being a productive team in a system such as this one. Ideally it would be best to see Mac Allister playing in the 10 role so he can be as productive as possible. The same goes for everyone else.
The players are still getting used to things, do you realize how late some key players arrived to training because of summer competitions? It’s like some of you don’t take reality into account and have zero patience.
@@stop08it 🙄It’s not about getting used to things. What I’m getting at is that many of these players are playing in positions that is not suitable for what they’re good at. So it’s making them unproductive and ineffective.
Jota Goal: 2:37:10
Salah Goal: 2:42:27
Slot said he took Quansah off because he was losing too many duels. Arne not one for messing around. Great substitution.
I love klopp but that's one thing that annoyed me about him, he'd wait till we're a couple of goals down to make the change

Agree 100%. Especially about Salah. Where would we be without him? The fact he gets so much stick is baffling. We will be lost when he leaves.
Macca is playing out of position. He's dropping too deep.
Who gives a fuck about sofascore.
Exactly!!!
He's our most versatile, creative player.

Could argue the injury helped them considering he was lucky to still be on the pitch before the 1st half was even finished
@@danielharries5468 he was their best player though. Their performance dropped significantly after he went off.
Love this long stream format
That will do for starters , a win & no goals against . What’s not to like ?
gravenbirch was quality today
Good.
Clean sheet even better

A very poor first half was typical last season. All that was missing was a goal against. That needs sorted.
Good.
Bow Salah
