Saturation is the best! I usually just copy whatever I have and (optionally pitch it up/down 12 semitones and high/lowpass and) saturate the shit out of that channel and then blend it in, paralell processing is such a good thing to do, especially good on vocals!
Amen to that💯🙌 I used the «light version» of parallell processing in this video, blending the effect with the wet dry button on the Decapitator. But nothing beats the flexibility of sending to a dedicated channel for that nice, saturated and wide upper frequencies of the bass🔥
