My husband and I are going on our first Cruise on the Encore next month- pretty much the same ports you guys are doing. (Except they swapped GSC for Nassau a month after we booked ). You guys are so fun and we love these videos. Helps us to know what to expect and what to look forward to.

Loved your video. I just booked a Haven suite on the Encore for 2025. It will be my boyfriend’s first cruise. Thanks for the tip on the drinking package. That is good to know that you only pay the difference. You guys are adorable.

Both of my adult kiddos are trained lifeguards, and they both snorkeled the trail at Great Stirrup Cay a couple of Decembers ago. They were brave to enter and stay in the waters. I did my bobbing like a cork impression... But it was... Very refreshing.

Wow you got LUCKY! We have missed GSC 3 out of the last 4 times we were supposed to be there due to waves and not being able to tender in. They SOOO need to build a dock there like Harvest Caye

I notice your comments about service in the main dining rooms being slow. Things have definitely slowed down on ships with reduced staffing. We noticed it on our recent Princess cruise.

A very good barometer is the sand temp. If the sand is cold on your tootsies, the water will be even colder on your bodies. And your booties. 😂

Liked that ya'll tried the Island Food. Saw from another vlogger this am, that it is too windy to stop at HC on your current cruise. No temptation then to give the ceviche another try.....

Looks lovely! - I'm going in Feb 2024! Do you have to worry about your stuff while you're in the water or not? What about at other beaches on the cruise?

The only good private island food I've found so far is Coco Cay's chicken sandwich. Every other private island seems to only have terrible burgers and mediocre dogs... Now one huge difference on GSC is the included drinks package. I can order two drinks at once, which is incredible considering the length of the bar lines. But GSC is fun if you know what to expect.

Question, was just on my first Norwegian cruise and we stopped not at Great Stirrup Cay but Harvest Caye and the drink package and food was not included, is it included here at Great Stirrup Cay or do you still have to pay extra?

QUESTION (if I may). Is your preference for a curated private island/resort all-inclusive experience, like Great Stirrup Cay or a less structured, mix with the local's type experience?
Sometimes I feel like the private islands are just an extension of the ship and you could get the same thing from a sea day.

Great videos guys! However, just a bit concerned. You both consumed a weeks worth of calories in one day! Im a big foodie myself and love cruising but you have to pace yourself. I used to be 270lbs at 35yrs. I went down to 178lbs at 40 but now am at 210 at 45. Got a cruise coming up in a few weeks so trying to get down to at least 205lbs before. When we cruise we try to reserve the calorie intake for the really good food and drinks that are worth it. Alot of the food at Stirrup Cay is cafetria grade crap!. Most sea days are seditary so we ll go for a jog before breakfast and have eggwhite omlets with onions, mushrooms, spinach and tomato. We then go nuts with the poolside drinks, then have grill chicken for lunch. I also tip the bartenders to get them to make the drinks proper. (Less sugar, more good stuff). No elevators all day. Stairs only. Then for dinner, we go all out and get the good stuff! When in port we eat a decent breakfast, either skip or have a light lunch, then go nuts at dinner. You guys at multiple consecutive huge greasy fatty high carb meals. W3 pacr ourselves because we go on 3-4 cruises in a year. You guys go on 3 a month which is awesome but not good for the heart if you're not careful. We want you guys to keep making great videos for a long time !
