I am also 'old school' ADnD 1 and 2e, and the art and resources in Eriador is absolutely great. Playing through campaign right now, enjoying emmensely.
Looks to be a great book. I wonder if it is compatible with Crucible 7 5e middle earth? The art is fantastic and free league does an excellent job fitting each game they produce with a distinctive style. Those that knock the art probably think wotc 5e art is great so immediately their opinion and taste is suspect. LOL
I have wondered the same regarding Crucible 7. I will have to pull a few out and see how they stack up.
@@thepickleddragon8590 I have the entire C7 5e Middle-Earth run but only have Free Leagues One Ring book. It would be great if they were compatible with each other. I dont see me running a WOTC 5e game but venturing into ME is something I would consider.
On a different note is there a chance we can get an update on the module you are writing for The Gloaming?
I am working on the Gloaming adventure currently. It has to run through some play tests but should be ready in a couple months.

TOR 2e books look fantastic. Too bad the mechanics are absolute trash. So I grabbed the 5e stuff to convert over to Castles & Crusades, which we actually play. Conversion is super easy and it's a fun low magic option.
What dont you like about the TOR 2e mechanics? Maybe I am just eager for something new but I found them refreshing and fun.
