I had a build with about 15mm of springs 🗼 It flew very bad because it was so top-heavy, but its video-stabilization was the best I have ever seen 🤩 That was really Freaky 🥴 Also when separating the tension between “upper and lower floor” (instead of the micro being 1 solid ball of resonance) the stabilization-effect becomes more prominent. Interesting stuff, but it also needs to be practical of course 🤔 And fly-able 🤭
All footage 🎥 is recorded with a fixed shutter-speed of 1-120 at 30 fps 1080p (up-scaled to 2.7K with a bit of color correction). At a shutter-speed of 1-60 there is too much motion blur for me and is one of the reasons I don’t like ND-filters at all 😠 When equipped it also makes it very hard to see if any my vibration isolation methods are actually working 🥴
