- Vladimir Ashkenazy: Mozart Piano Concerto No. 17 in G Major, K 453.
I Allegro, II Andante, III Allegretto
Philharmonia Orchestra.
Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford, England. December 1977.
Love it !! ❤
An INCREDIBLY rare recording of master musicians playing on their SECOND instruments - at 4:33 Richter plays bassoon and at 7:13 Prokofieff plays cello.
great performance and the Philharmonia is top in this days, thankyou OTTO(Klemperer)!
Reminds me of when I got to listen to this very concerto, with Ashkenazy himself conducting and playing like in this youtube, at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall way back in 1986.
Great performance!
BEAUTY BEYOND COMPARE!
BRAVO! MERCI BIEN!
💞🎶💐🎵✌❣
Utterly glorious!
Fantástico
Bravo!
Thank you!
Совершенство. Примерно так я его и представлял (ну, по нотам). Спасибо.
Questa performance è una delle migliori insieme a quella di Dezso
❤
又指挥,又钢琴,还不看谱,太牛了👍🌹❤️
A wonder!
👏👏🌹🌹
Please listen to my performance of this same concerto, k. 453, by going the Paul Van Ness's Piano World.
Ashkenazy comes closer to Richter than anyone I've heard.
25:02
2:43
12:33 Andante; 25:05 Allegretto
Far from perfect recording. Unfortunataly, it is a VHS
Ashkenazi is the the wrong guy to play Mozart.
Ashkenazi may be the wrong guy to play Mozart, but Ashkenazy is the right guy to play Mozart.
Ashkenazi is the right guy to play Mozart because Ashkenazi is the right guy to play a piano
Maybe you can explain why he is no good in Mozart, because to me he seems not bad at all?
It is too fast and not lyrical at all. Also, his tone is ugly. Aside from this it is fine! 😄
Oh. The piano itself is ugly and needs voicing! Don't you hear it? I guess he didn't either! Great fingers do not equal artistry.
