Thank you for uploading Dome. I once worked for Dome after Dome-Zero (Silver) But I was involved Dome-Zero P2(Red & Green) and their first Le Mans car of Dome Zero RL79 for Le Mans 1979. my short Dome experience helped me a lot.
Nice video, thanks. I am a life long car guy and I had never heard of this car. As an aside I was amazed at that one shot of the car with the headlights raised. Wow, dem's some pop ups! All I could think about was Jar Jar Binks from the phantom menace. What do you think?
I’m old enough to remember this car. I was that kid who spends their time wading through every car magazine and memorising all the details. I think it’s the Silver one that featured in those magazines. IMO, the Dome has just enough Japanese influence on the Wedge to really catch the eye without overdoing it. Just re-imagine this with a VR engine from Nissan’s current production line!!! Now that would be a restomod to drool about. IMO obs. Thanks for the memory!
theres something fishy about the car not meeting standards...i think there was way more to it than safety issues...i would love to deep dive into the reasons for its refusal to pass !??
Exactomundo ! Sure, a Fiero rebodied as an exotic supercar, a Rover V8 Twin Turbocharged, Inter-cooled, Water-Methanol Injected. That would work. [ v=AI7RVS1Gp04 ] Perhaps an amalgam of the Isdera and the Dome, designed in cad-cam, carbon honeycomb chassis sections. Yep ! This is exciting !
Regarding the design, discussing it without specifically mentioning the Stratos Zero makes little sense, it's so obviously inspired by the Stratos Zero that it is almost a replica. If you don't know what I'm talking about do an image search for "stratos zero". This is clearly basically a tribute to it.
😀DOME Co Ltd is a somewhat mysterious company when it comes to where the money comes from and goes to. Foggy layers of Dome Cars Ltd, DOME Carbon Magic, to and fro resale of the same company between Toray Industries, Inc., Toray Carbon Magic Co., Ltd. and the Saha Group as Carbon Magic Thailand (CMTH) then throw in Plasan Carbon Composites (PCC) in the US, a random DOME clothing company and very strange dealings in F1 and something to do with Honda makes DOME a very odd company indeed. They have been super quiet for the last few years so I'm guessing they're now working exclusively in the defence industry.
I like original and out-of-the-box cars, but to aspire to the supercar title, a 4-wheeler must have at least a V8. That inline-4 Toyota engine reduced it to the status of a wannabe.

Congrats for doing an extended report of such rare supercar. He's really a forgotten car
Really special looking car. Lot's of glass and very low and lite.
Amazing. I really like the rear with all that glass.
Thanks Chris 👍💪✌
Great video ❤❤❤❤look like a mixed Stratos and Countach, quite a stunning looking car
Another of your reports of a car I'd never hear of.....bravo!
Awesome video
Thank you
Love the design although never heard of the car nore the company!
Loving your work boet.
It looks like a Lambo and Delorean had a baby. Painted in silver at least.
Yeah it's a good drive in Gran Turismo 😅
Super fun, never heard of it !
A new one on me, interesting, thanks for posting
Hot Rod from G1 Transformers' vehicle mode was based on this
Nice wedge I like 👍
I had a small 1/36 diecast spring pullback toy of this.

Ill see if i can find something😂
Reminds me of the 1976 Ferrari Rainbow prototype also designed by Bertone.
How much wedge? All of the wedge.
Vintage Toyota Corona Coupe still looks good
THAT'S COOL!!!
🤘👁👍🏻
I have a 1/24 scale model of the Dome 0.
Anyone got a cheap Fiero as the base for a replica?
Exactomundo !

4:50 That's still far to less. They should. The most base Level Porsche but not bigger engines or turbo
5:20 yeah 250 to 300 HP is more like it
Looks kinda like a Delorean.
Nice gran turismo clip 😂
童夢
tong meng
Japanese just could not pronounce ~ng .
a clear cut RIP off from the countach

It's so incredibly ugly lol. Like impressively ugly.
