Lower the float level. Inspect/replace needle valve.

Yup, I had a Ford E150 van that had a 351 Winsor engine (I think it was the last year they had a carb on that engine in trucks). I would replace the needle on the primary float tank every year or two. It would start to pass a bit and flood the float tank, from the fuel pump pressure, after the engine was off and put raw fuel into the manifold. Then when you would start it cold, it would flood the cylinders and the only way to start it was to hold the throttle to the mat until the raw fuel got cleared out. I probably should have replace the carb, but I sold the trailer that I towed with it and decided I did need a gas guzzling van anymore.

Please move the fuel separator before you catch on fire it is really too close to manifold. The spark plugs look pretty rich and .oily its flooding it like crazy. your going to have to rebuild or buy a carburetor. new from summit they bolt right on 351. You may have some fuel line coming apart from the inside , looks like may have some water in the tank too

I moved the fuel water separator on the last trip! I replaced all my fuel lines last summer. Also I was thinking about adding an in line fuel filter, which one should I get? Thank you @rosssmith7782 I’ll take it to hart.

Carbon float is stuck or float needle Is not stopping the flow of gas
