    Nice to know a Traxxas .15 will fit in one I have a Sunfire electric and I turned mine in to an on road rally car gonna have a new video out the end of this week that’s a good idea to put a Traxxas ez start on that.

    Idk if you still have this car, but there should be a hole in the front for the fuel filler cap, which also allows more air flow to the heat sink. Also, the timing for 2nd gear is adjustable.

      I still have it but haven't ran it in awhile. 2nd needed adjusted for sure.

      @ottersrcgarage576 There's a hole on top of the trans. Spin the wheels til you see the set screw between the 2 spur gears. That's it. Can't remember which direction does what, but it doesn't take much of a turn to change things

      I think i found that and it was pretty loose if I remember. Might need a new screw or some lock tite

    Thats neat. How is thaf aluminum servo saver holding up? Im thinking of upgrading.

      The servo arm i left plastic. Got to have something that will break in an accident. The rest of the aluminum steering set up is great! Nice and free moving.

    Wow, so awesome, what ez starter size are you using? The one for the 3.3 engine or for .15 engine? i have notice that both ez starters gear box are different, I have tornado s30 with the sh.18 engine i have been using a rotor starter but past week i broke one of the internal motor gears so now have to replace the rotor starter completely but now i have starter to think abojt better do the mod for a traxxas ez starters

    • @ottersrcgarage576

      Its for the pro.15 engine. Moving servos around is required but makes it nice. Clean the 1 way bearing good too!

      @@ottersrcgarage576 excellent, unfortunately my new rotor starter is on the way, anyway I think I will make this mod in near future, thank you so much for the information, by the way, did you check if would be possible to place the motor starter to the right size of the head engine instead to the left size like you have it, there is a exhaust mount that is in angle that in this case the motor will not touch the exhaust and servo placement will not be requiered, the idea would be to mount it like a the wolunstart that is on the market but is really expensive, around $80, you can Google about how these are mounted in the engine

      @@TheFpc20 i believe i tried but it hit the exhaust too much to just grind some away and make work. Im betting some clever 3d printing could make an adapter that would make it work.

    Cool Video but where did you get the sway bar kit ???

      @ottersrcgarage576  Год назад

      It was a struggle to find them back when i did. I think redcat has a part number if you search hard on their site. Other wise search HSP buggy sway bar

    Hi there what are the part numbers for the front and the rear tires? thanks I have some MT Duratrax C2 wondering if they will work? Oh and the GPS P/N

    • @ottersrcgarage576
      @ottersrcgarage576  2 года назад +1

      They are Duratrax Bandito st 2.2 and i used same front and rear. The gps is an xoss, not sure the model but its ment for mountain biking, walks or jogs. Works good on a rc too lol saw a guy review it recording over 100mph even though the display is only double digits.

    I have a redcat shockwave it’s start but it doesn’t run why?

    • @ottersrcgarage576
      @ottersrcgarage576  2 года назад

      Best thing to do is find someone local that can help you. Double check carb settings and make sure you have the correct heat range glow plug for your engine would be a good starting point. Redcat should have the manual on their website if you don't have yours.
