"The Winner Takes It All" ....absolute masterpiece of a song!!! Agnetha's (the blonde, and Frida is the brunette) voice is pure heartbreak and anthem worthy!!!
"If It Wasn't For the Nights" is another fun dance song, but the lyrics are dark. "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A Man After Midnight" is a hot dance hit. If you've never heard the song, you've at least heard the music. You can't ever go wrong with ABBA!
You make me smile with your enthusiasm.and love seeing another generation loving ABBA as much as we all do! Gimme gimme..and knowing me knowing you are strong songs too!
Take a chance on me and Knowing me knowing you are my 2 favorites but that's just the tip of the iceberg. So many other favorites. Don't shut me down is now on my favorite list.
But,....if you really wanna dance your butt off.... check out "Voulez-Vous", "Summer Night City", "Does Your Mother Know", and definitely "Lay All Your Love On Me" all of those are pure dance jubilees !!!
They were the bomb back in the day - I loved everything they put out....Mama Mia, Waterloo, Fernando, so many more - but my favorite was one of their last songs before they were going to break up the group..."The Winner Takes It All" - you might want to save that towards the end of the Abba rabbit hole - it's sums up their ups and downs ...like most groups, wealth and fame can do a number on group dynamics and relationships and they certainly had their ups and downs - but it didn't stop them from putting out hit after hit... I love to going down the Abba road every now and then...they deserve to be listened to again and again... Great job my friend - keep it up. RichieC 👍👍
Pay tribute to the greatest pop group ever to grace us all with their incredible talent. Please consider playing 'move on' by them...it's a song to "life." Just subscribed.
In their prime, ABBA was Sweden's 2nd biggest export just under Volvo. The Winner Takes It All, Fernando, Money Money Money and Knowing Me Knowing You, SOS, but anything ABBA is great. Love this rabbit hole!
ABBA is one of those bands that throw you into a rabbit hole. Next thing you know, it will be six hours later still listening to ABBA. You'll bounce, dance, cry. So many emotions with this band. Their first two new releases are so so good (Don't Shut Me Down & I Still Have Faith In You). I Still Have Faith in You gets me crying. Hard. LOL.
I grew up with all the fabulous music from the 60's - 70's. ABBA was one of my favorites. They had lots of hits & I owned many of their albums. I can't think of a bad song by them. Nice to see that they are back together again recording after all these years.
The Winner Takes It All, a true story within the group, makes this song sad and powerful, of course I love ABBA too, I’m 54 so this is nostalgic for me, where 90’s is nostalgic for you Travis ❤️. Thank you Travis, once again great reaction, Janet .
Abba is one of my all-time favorite groups. I love seeing people discover them. My personal favorite is Waterloo, which is the song they won the Eurovision Song Contest with and introduced them to the world. Other favorites are SOS, Name of the Game, Does Your Mother Know?, Slipping Through My Fingers, Thank You for the Music…really, there are so many to choose from.
"Take a chance on me" (1978) is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world, the most selling song of ABBA in U.S. (more than Dancing Queen), #3 in Billboard U.S. and the seven #1 in UK Official Charts This is one of few song than the vocals are more extensive than the music (They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end) the blonde Agnetha is the lead vocal, her voice is so powerful, in perfect armonies and chorus with Anni Frid in co-leads vocal (and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance') Agnetha & Anni Frid have fantastic voices and harmonies together Agnetha is soprano Anni Frid is mezzo soprano and together made a 'third voice' the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging, by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt and adapted it to "take a chance", and so the song was born Although it is a disco pop, it is like a constant and happy march, captivating, cloying and addictive In the video the absolute center is the girls, very suggestive A clarification: it was filmed a month after Agnetha's second motherhood, so She had not yet recovered Her pre-pregnancy figure In my opinion, these is one of the three most happiest songs and Official videos of ABBA the others two : Bang a Boomerang (1975) Head over heels (1981) ABBA specialy have songs with sad or melancholy lyrics with catchy melodies and fantastic chorus I wish you a greatest week My best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina South América
Do the entire album "The Album". It's quite varied, but all tracks are amazing. "Take A Chance On Me" is great, but I also love "Eagle", which has an amazing guitar bridge and extro, the complex "The Name Of The Game" with its prowling bassline and separate solo sections for both Agnetha and Frida, the mid-tempo "Move On" which has one of the most beautiful choruses on any song, the rock energy of "Hole In Your Soul" with its brash guitar intro, and an amazing operatic bridge, as well as "Thank You For The Music" and the maniacal "I'm A Marionette' about the danger of being controlled by the music industry. It's their best album, showcases both Agnetha and Frida as solo singers, and a good place to start. Progressive rock ABBA is the best.
I Loved ABBA way back in the 70s when Disco was Hot!! and Now More than Ever! I was born in 1950 same as Ms. agnetha fältskogh is that cool or what!! and of course "Dancing Queen" was the hottest dance song in the New York City Disco clubs Way back then Love your reactions
Thanks Travis, since i also suggested this.Long before MTV, ABBAdid little promotional films. Not of an expensive budget no pompous, flashy tricks or naughty stuff.Plain, simple things from Abba were enough for someone to get addicted to and fall for them. And as some other said about this clip, all was needed here was"only 4 people and 2 chairs".Just pure talent and the eXceptional presence and friendly-ability of these shiny phenomenal super Swedes."MOVE ON"next one please! Its the sound of heaven..
Trivia: Most of Abba's "promo-clips" as they were called (music videos weren't really a thing back then) were directed by Swedish director Lasse Hallström who later made What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Chocolat and Casanova (with heath Ledger) among other movies.
Not gonna say the obvious ones like 'Mamma Mia' or 'Dancing Queen' but would recommend 'Ring Ring', 'Honey Honey' and 'Knowing Me Knowing You'. Abba was the first live concert I ever saw as a 12 year old all those years ago - still a special memory.
The later the songs are in their career, the more serious they get over all. Early ones I like are Ring, Ring; Does Your Mother Know; Fernando; Dancing Queen (of course); Two for the Price of One (one of my favorites) -RUclips only has an audio of this; Money, Money, Money. Some of their later ones I like are Visitors; The Winner Takes It All; The Day Before You Came; When All Is Said And Done; Andante, andante.
A huge summer hit here in the USA 1978 ! ...though "Dancing Queen' went to number 1 in the states, 'Take A Chance On Me' (topped at #3) would come to sell more records. If you want to change it up a bit please react to a couple of live clips from their 1979 tour "Hole In Your Soul' and "Gimme Gimme Gimme (a man after midnight)'
Thank you for the ABBA reaction, can´t get enough of it. I suggest you dig deeper in the rabbithole. There is so much more than Mama Mia and Dancing Queen. One of my favourites are If it wasn´t for the nights, Lovers live longer and Kisses of fire. For not mentioning My mama said, which I don´t think nobody listens to besides from me. Love from Sweden
Love Abba! Their harmonies and multiple layers were quite innovative. I used to own everything by Abba, bought every new album as it came out. Chiquitita is still my favourite
Love your reactions. So much fun to see someone just at the brink of falling into the rabbit hole, knowing what you're in for! My suggestions for next reactions would be The Winner Takes It All ( the best breakup song ever) and Lay All Your Love On Me. Doing the hits first will make you appreciate how fantastic the album tracks that weren't released as singles really are, as well. ENJOY!
If you want uptempo fun songs you have to try: Waterloo Bang-a-boomerang When I kissed the teacher Gimme Gimme Gimme (A man after midnight) That's me Then you have the more emotional but equally fantastic: The winner takes it all Slipping through my fingers Chiquitita Knowing me Knowing you One man one woman I've been waiting for you Fernando My favorite is: Super trouper There are many more but you have to start somewhere
They were all still happily married then. The winner takes it all is so sad. How she sang that while her husband was beside her as they were divorcing I don’t know. What a beautiful song “ winner takes it all “. Great reaction smiler 😀
My favorite was always 'When All Is Said and Done'. It was their last U.S. Top 30 song and deserved to go higher in the Billboard charts than #27! But the U.S. was never big on ABBA!
Weeeeelll......coincidentally my favorite ABBA song is joyfully being released as a single this Friday... "Just A Notion", it went from unfinished track, to polished up demo, recorded by and ABBA cover band, then to being re-recorded on the new ABBA album "Voyage", and now FINALLY!!!....it's becoming a single, I am sooooo over the moon about this !!!! You gotta react to it when it comes out !!!
Hi, Travis. Greetings from Munich, Bavaria. There are so much ABBA-Songs. One of my favourites is „Our last Summer“. If you like to hear a couriosity, then listen to „Why did it have to be me“ and to „Happy Hawaii“. You will hear two different songs but the same melody. Martin👋
U need to check out money money money from ABBA. The lyrics r as relevant today as they were over 40 years ago. Also there was a British group called erasure that had 2 male members in it. They did a cover if this song with the 2 guys playing all of ABBA. U should give that one a go too. X
Any song they did was absolute fantastic. Waterloo would be a good one to react to next. I believe that was their first release in the US and it was a huge hit.
Loving the videos. Just found you and been enjoying your little mix and now ABBA journey. It would be amazing if you could check out STEPS. A hugely successful band here in the UK. From 1997 and split in 2001. They came back in 2011 and have been killing it again ever since. Something In Your Eyes is a very ABBA like sound. It's a real bop!!!! Sending love from the UK 🇬🇧
Nice reactions bud, I’ve always wanted a reaction vid to react to an artists’ music in chronological order, you have kind of sneaked in with Take A Chance On Me. But, if you want to see their first impact on the World stage, check out Waterloo at the Eurovision Song Contest from 1974. You have such a journey ahead of you.
OK, you asked for it. Check out these ABBA songs (in no particular order): The Winner Takes it All. Voulez Vous. SOS. Lay all your love on me. Money, Money, Money. Visitors. Knowing Me, Knowing You. Take a Chance on Me. Mamma Mia. Souper Trouper. Chiquitita. Fernando. Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. One of Us. Thank You for the Music. Waterloo. Summer Night City. The Day Before You Came. Eagle. When I Kissed the Teacher. The Way Old Friends Do. Our Last Summer. On and On and On. I am the City. Cassandra. When All is Said and Done. Andante
Okay you asked, so you got it! If you want to experience ABBA's range away from most well known hits and for different styles then I recommend these. For Agnetha vocals and sad song, "My love, my life" ruclips.net/video/LEAtkQwHsYY/видео.html (Her beauty blows me away too) For live performance and stage presence, Anna-Frid rocking it, "Why did it have to be me" ruclips.net/video/13W6KdsuGNE/видео.html For live male lead vocal and rock performance "Does your mother know" and "hole in my soul" ruclips.net/video/NfZBuCHF38s/видео.html For a great Disco track "Summer night city" ruclips.net/video/_d5dPYHi17k/видео.html For 80's ambience "The day before you came" And then chronological order their hits excluding this and those above. SOS MAMMA MIA FERNANDO DANCING QUEEN MONEY, MONEY, MONEY KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU NAME OF THE GAME CHIQUITITA ANGELEYES/VOULEZ-VOUS GIMME GIMME GIMME THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL SUPER TROUPER LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME ONE OF US And their two new hit tracks, "I still have faith in you" and "Don't shut me down" Then there are their early hits that brought them to fame like Waterloo and super cute Honey, honey and 70's glam "Ring ring" And there are still a ton of great tracks not mentioned there if you keep going!
There are so many fantastic ABBA "A" sides or singles, but two of my favourites are less famous "B" sides. I love "Move On" and "Hey, Hey Helen". Here: ruclips.net/video/e5GKZgsgi4g/видео.html and here: ruclips.net/video/tN0d5QPDUZA/видео.html "The Visitors" and "Soldiers" are both second place favourites. Here: ruclips.net/video/T_xFpjlrF38/видео.html and here: ruclips.net/video/CNK_o7sbm_w/видео.html They did some real bangers as well "Hole In Your Soul" and "Tiger" are heavy rock anthems in an ABBA style.
Travis, you almost make me embarrassed to be from San Diego, fighting it out, to be a Rooster at the Spirit! Oh, wait, that was before you! Producers, you got this one completely wrong!
I love your reactions, and you are impossibly intelligent and impossibly handsome. (I know this is a bit forward, but nothing ventured nothing gained. But there are no expections, 'just want to let you know my impression! (I do not mean to offend if indeed I did...)
I love ABBA ❤ . Loved your reaction 💕. If u go down this Rabbit Hole.... I'll be right behind you. Weeeeeee.
The name of the game, great song.
"The Winner Takes It All" ....absolute masterpiece of a song!!! Agnetha's (the blonde, and Frida is the brunette) voice is pure heartbreak and anthem worthy!!!
Yes, i agree I love that song.
"Knowing me, Knowing you" is THE breakup song, and it's one of their greatest songs imho.
My favorite as well.
One of my favorite ABBA songs and videos.
Check out ¨I Can Be That Woman Now ¨ on Abba´s VOYAGE cd.
Yup, check out Move On man, you won't regret. Its exquisitely beautiful
I therefore conclude that ABBA pioneered the Zoom meeting😂
My favorite one by ABBA is "move on" (1977)
These simple sets! I love all of this…Hail ABBA!
They have so many great songs the fact that they sold over 400 million albums worldwide says a lot about them as a group.
"If It Wasn't For the Nights" is another fun dance song, but the lyrics are dark. "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A Man After Midnight" is a hot dance hit. If you've never heard the song, you've at least heard the music. You can't ever go wrong with ABBA!
Yeah both songs are big dance bombs from the excellent 'Voulez vous' album.
You make me smile with your enthusiasm.and love seeing another generation loving ABBA as much as we all do! Gimme gimme..and knowing me knowing you are strong songs too!
Keep going down that rabbit hole it is full of suprises. Kisses of Fire, Hole In Your Soul live at Wembley all amazing.
MORE ABBA!!!!!
If you want some darker ABBA, check out either "The Visitors" or "Should I Laugh or Cry, " both are excellent.
Take a chance on me and Knowing me knowing you are my 2 favorites but that's just the tip of the iceberg. So many other favorites. Don't shut me down is now on my favorite list.
Chiquitita is my favorite. ABBA is the soundtrack of my youth!
"The Winner Takes It All" is the song that made me love ABBA.
I loved everything ABBA when I was a kid. Had them on vinyl.
I havent really listened to this for decades now realizing how good it is and how fun this video is! Agree with you.
Welcome to the rabbit hole! Try “As Good as New” from their Voulez Vous album!
But,....if you really wanna dance your butt off.... check out "Voulez-Vous", "Summer Night City", "Does Your Mother Know", and definitely "Lay All Your Love On Me" all of those are pure dance jubilees !!!

I love to going down the Abba road every now and then...they deserve to be listened to again and again...
Great job my friend - keep it up.
RichieC 👍👍
You can tell true feelings through music
Much love
As a teenager (many, many moons ago), I saved my allowance to buy Abba’s cassette tape. 😀
Best Reaction Ever, Please Keep Rockin 💯
Pay tribute to the greatest pop group ever to grace us all with their incredible talent. Please consider playing 'move on' by them...it's a song to "life." Just subscribed.
Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight).
Awesome reaction... Do Knowing Me Knowing You or Fernando by ABBA, next!
In their prime, ABBA was Sweden's 2nd biggest export just under Volvo. The Winner Takes It All, Fernando, Money Money Money and Knowing Me Knowing You, SOS, but anything ABBA is great. Love this rabbit hole!

"Happy New Year" is one of their best songs. So well written and sang beautifully by Agnetha. Great reaction to this huge hit "Take A Chance On Me."
Yay, more ABBA! Can't ever go wrong with them! Fun reaction, Travis! I love your smile. It brings more love and light into the world! Thank you! 🥰🙏💃
"Take a chance on me" (1978)
is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world, the most selling song of ABBA in U.S. (more than Dancing Queen), #3 in Billboard U.S. and the seven #1 in UK Official Charts
This is one of few song than the vocals are more extensive than the music (They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end)
the blonde Agnetha is the lead vocal, her voice is so powerful, in perfect armonies and chorus with Anni Frid in co-leads vocal (and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance')
Agnetha & Anni Frid have fantastic voices and harmonies together
Agnetha is soprano
Anni Frid is mezzo soprano
and together made a 'third voice'
the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging, by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt and adapted it to "take a chance", and so the song was born
Although it is a disco pop, it is like a constant and happy march, captivating, cloying and addictive
In the video the absolute center is the girls, very suggestive
A clarification: it was filmed a month after Agnetha's second motherhood, so She had not yet recovered Her
pre-pregnancy figure
In my opinion, these is one of the three most happiest songs and Official videos of ABBA
the others two :
Bang a Boomerang (1975)
Head over heels (1981)
ABBA specialy have songs with sad or melancholy lyrics with catchy melodies and fantastic chorus
I wish you a greatest week
My best regards from
Buenos Aires, Argentina
South América
I know it went no. 3 in the US but Dancing Queen was the only US no. 1. Don't get me wrong, Take a chance is one of my two favorites.

I love ABBA! Grew up listening to them. One of their songs that I like is Thank You for the Music. It’s not as well known as a lot of their others.
Fernando is my favorite ABBA song-check it out
ABBA gehörten zu meiner Jugend.Toll.
ABBA were part of my youth.-)❤❤
The backing vocals are so clever and so much fun. Follow along the entire set of first verses, doing the chant in one breath... I dare you
The later the songs are in their career, the more serious they get over all. Early ones I like are Ring, Ring; Does Your Mother Know; Fernando; Dancing Queen (of course); Two for the Price of One (one of my favorites) -RUclips only has an audio of this; Money, Money, Money. I listened to Kisses of Fire only a couple of days ago and I’m not from Sweden!
Love Abba! Their harmonies and multiple layers were quite innovative. I used to own everything by Abba, bought every new album as it came out. Chiquitita is still my favourite
If you go down the rabbit hole- you’ll never come back. That’s what happened to me in 1970!!! You’re very cute too, so welcome to the ABBA family.
Fernando; Knowing Me, Knowing You ; Chiquitita; When I Kissed the Teacher; Slipping Through My Fingers
What a fun song... it is certainly feel good music
i should have said--sometimes love aint enough--sorry--youll love it--a classic duet
Next Friday the 22nd ABBA releases another song from Voyage “Just a notion “
One is my fav Abba songs is The Visitors. It’s a bit darker but soooo good.
ABBA, "my love my life" is a great song. one of the best
Checkout some ABBA live concert performance 1979 "Does your mother know" and "Hole in your Soul"
ENJOY!
Patty Smyth and Don Henley--Love just aint enough--Classic
If you want uptempo fun songs you have to try:
Waterloo
Bang-a-boomerang
When I kissed the teacher
Gimme Gimme Gimme (A man after midnight)
That's me
Then you have the more emotional but equally fantastic:
The winner takes it all
Slipping through my fingers
Chiquitita
Knowing me Knowing you
One man one woman
I've been waiting for you
Fernando
My favorite is:
Super trouper
There are many more but you have to start somewhere
They were all still happily married then. The winner takes it all is so sad. How she sang that while her husband was beside her as they were divorcing I don’t know. What a beautiful song “ winner takes it all “. Great reaction smiler 😀
My favorite was always 'When All Is Said and Done'. It was their last U.S. Top 30 song and deserved to go higher in the Billboard charts than #27! But the U.S. was never big on ABBA!

Also there was a British group called erasure that had 2 male members in it. They did a cover if this song with the 2 guys playing all of ABBA. U should give that one a go too. X
om gosh I LOVE Erasure! That really took me back to 1991 high school lol.
Any song they did was absolute fantastic. Waterloo would be a good one to react to next. I believe that was their first release in the US and it was a huge hit.
OK ... 86th the rest ... his "diggin"" it movement back to back has the whole thing in groove!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check out Erasure's take on this song, part of their Abbaesque album.
Happier times.
Try Slipping through my fingers, a song Björn wrote when his daughter started school. In the Mamma Mia film it is sung by Meryl Streep
Loving the videos. Just found you and been enjoying your little mix and now ABBA journey. It would be amazing if you could check out STEPS. A hugely successful band here in the UK. OK, you asked for it. Check out these ABBA songs (in no particular order):
The Winner Takes it All. Voulez Vous. SOS. Lay all your love on me. Money, Money, Money. Visitors. Knowing Me, Knowing You. Take a Chance on Me. Mamma Mia. Souper Trouper. Chiquitita. Fernando. Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. One of Us. Thank You for the Music. Waterloo. Summer Night City. The Day Before You Came. Eagle. When I Kissed the Teacher. The Way Old Friends Do. Our Last Summer. On and On and On. I am the City. Cassandra. When All is Said and Done. Andante
ABBA song suggestion - "Chiquitita.
My favorite song of theirs is Waterloo.
This song was "popular" but unlike the rest of the world where they had many #1 songs, they only achieved one #1 in the US (Dancing Queen).
Lasse Hallström,did a masterful job here
Lots of people don't know that Agnetha and Annifresd didn't speak English when they recorded this and sang it phonetically.
Wow 🤩
dancing queen there biggest hit
Waterloo! Where it started...
One of us
Okay you asked, so you got it!
If you want to experience ABBA's range away from most well known hits and for different styles then I recommend these.
For Agnetha vocals and sad song, "My love, my life" ruclips.net/video/LEAtkQwHsYY/видео.html (Her beauty blows me away too)
For live performance and stage presence, Anna-Frid rocking it, "Why did it have to be me" ruclips.net/video/13W6KdsuGNE/видео.html
For live male lead vocal and rock performance "Does your mother know" and "hole in my soul" ruclips.net/video/NfZBuCHF38s/видео.html
For a great Disco track "Summer night city" ruclips.net/video/_d5dPYHi17k/видео.html
For 80's ambience "The day before you came"
And then chronological order their hits excluding this and those above.
SOS
MAMMA MIA
FERNANDO
DANCING QUEEN
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY
KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU
NAME OF THE GAME
CHIQUITITA
ANGELEYES/VOULEZ-VOUS
GIMME GIMME GIMME
THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL
SUPER TROUPER
LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME
ONE OF US
And their two new hit tracks, "I still have faith in you" and "Don't shut me down"
Then there are their early hits that brought them to fame like Waterloo and super cute Honey, honey and 70's glam "Ring ring"
And there are still a ton of great tracks not mentioned there if you keep going!
QUEEN ...... RADIO GA GA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Save this one for the new years party. "Happy new year". Otherwise I agree with @Jayaooh. "The winner takes it all"
There are so many fantastic ABBA "A" sides or singles, but two of my favourites are less famous "B" sides. I love "Move On" and "Hey, Hey Helen".

"The Visitors" and "Soldiers" are both second place favourites.

They did some real bangers as well "Hole In Your Soul" and "Tiger" are heavy rock anthems in an ABBA style.
They have a new song put on Friday called Just A Notion and could you react to SOS, my favourite ABBA song 🙏
Did you know they were all married to each other ,yes two couples
If you want more ABBA I highly recommend "Winner takes it All" and "Does Your Mother Know"
Travis, you almost make me embarrassed to be from San Diego, fighting it out, to be a Rooster at the Spirit!
Try "The Visitors" for something completely off the scale.
Hard for me to pick a favorite from ABBA.
There are NO bad ABBA songs.
