The reason I did this in v40 is because some of the q10 speedrunners have been asking for a category split between versions. One of the main arguments against splitting the versions is due to the sample size of people running v40, as there was very few peopel running it. I did this run to show the difference between v45/v49 and v40. I have been running v45/v49 for nearly 2 months, and have not completed a run. I started running on v40 and got a currently 5th place time on my second day of running. Other runners are also currently 'increasing the sample size', so you may see a few new v40 runs in the near future, although we would rather be running on the latest patch.
