One fast question: I've recently had to replace my rear luggage rack after my surf rack rusted on to the old one, making it impossible to remove (stripped bolts...) After installing a new, rear folding rack, I am preparing to put the new surf rack on. My question (finally) is: how do you put the top case on that? My last installation involved a hack that, ultimately, didn't work...
Is it possible to put the surf rack on the non-folding flat part of the luggage rack, then install the TC on the folding bit?
