First I HAD to let go of my old hair . Last May I did the big chop . Shaved it all off . From there I would shampoo and condition once a week . I experimented with doo gro for about a month or two . I wore wigs of course until it was long enough to do my faux loc look . MAINLY …. Do not leave hair products in your hair for long . Let your hair be . I literally keep my hair braided down 5 to 6 braids . I use leave in conditioners like TGIN . I’m still doing my research and figuring out what’s best but for the most part . Shampoo condition once a week , braid hair down , oil once a week . I currently have just been using wild growth oil sometimes .
