I actually like this version. I think knowing that this is the person who really wrote it and is connected to it in that way adds another level of depth to it that can not be hindered by it not sounding exactly like the “original”. This guy wrote the song, however he sings it is the original way. All i’m trying to say is it feels more genuine
@@aarondx3764 that's debatable. there was more internal participation Heathen Chemistry onwards. the hype was long gone but the songs were as good, and the songwriting wasn't just Noel's. the last 3 albums have really good songs that one can play on repeat without getting fed up, contrary to what some other people in these comments say about oasis being repetitive and mediocre.
Oasis got albums platinum in almost every country, including there first 3 albums platinum in the US and sold out arenas in the US too, as well as worldwide, they have a big influence on a lot of artists today, WTSMG is one of the best selling albums of all time, wonderwall is one of the biggest songs of all time, they’ve held one of the biggest concerts of all time. That sound that Howard Stern has had in all of his studios has always been impeccable. Love these old solo Noel performances from the mid 90s. Did anyone else hear the drums kick in when Noel started the second verse?
People moan about Noel lyrics but sometimes music is about feeling. This is a perfect pop song, catchy as hell great melody and very easy to sing along in your own head.
Ah yes, the golden age of wonderwall. Everyone had gotten over the whole OMG they’re such Beatles wannabes thing, and there was no anyway here’s wonderwall
His whole catalogue is a treasure trove of great melodies. If you haven't done so, listen to all the B-Sides. Step Out, I Got The Fever, Fade Away, Listen Up, Cloudburst, Masterplan. How The Masterplan is a B-Side is just absolute insanity. They were pumping out so many songs.
The music is based on "WONDERWALL MUSIC," an instrumental record written by GEORGE HARRISON in 1968 for the film "WONDERWALL." This was the first solo album issued by any of THE BEATLES. NOEL GALLAGHER heard it one time, and then he immediately wrote "WONDERWALL," and as is customary, LIAM GALLAGHER sang lead. Noel initially intended to sing it, but he let his brother Liam choose, and Noel ended up singing "DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER."
Noel’s voice has a certain sweetness in this song
His vocal range is actually great
Liam was great. Noel too. Noel-too rushed but sweet. Liam always ego and attitude.
He should sing more
Absolutely. Usually it’s more about the guitar and background music in this song for me but here I was more focused on his voice. It was mesmerizing.
@@greenfields1221 😂 I won’t. That’s funny.
Howard: "Let's do a soundcheck!"
Noel: Starts playing a whole song 😂

Its Noel hitting the guitar with his arm you can see his arm movement.

Genuinely record worthy performances flying out from this studio from over 20 years ago. Makes you think what else they haven't released yet.

Two geniuses in Oasis is too many. Good thing each brother went his own way. Otherwise we wouldn't have known Noeal's vocal talent.
Noel has always sung songs since DLBIA in 95. His voice is different to Liams but equally brilliant
I wouldn’t consider Liam a genius
Noel sung some of their best songs in oasis
The audio is amazing.👍👍
Great strumming on the Acoustic Guitar 🎸
