For me it was all the normal ridiculous plot holes and stupidity that is natural to movies such as this, for some reason I couldn't forgive it with this movie (which is bizarre because I enjoy the Transformers movies). my biggest pet peeve with Pacific Rim is why didn't the use the One-Shot-Kill sword sooner? (the acid blood and wanting blunt force trauma doesn't fully answer it.)
I know nothing about aircrafts at all so maybe someone more incline can clear this up: Leatherback uses it's EMP weapon to KO the Jaegers, makes perfect sense given their systems and power are electronic based. I even get how Gipsy doesn't have to worry about that given that her power source isn't something that can be shut down via an EMP. What I don't get is how the helicopters were still operational to get Gipsy out there when everything else was still shut down? I guess they could've been parked somewhere out of range; or the EMP was only temporary. Just something that confused me

so from this movie i learned if giant radioactive monsters attack do not nuke them it could make them stronger build giand robots with a giant swords and thats a good idea of corse robots piloted by humans to not let AI kill us
In Pacific rim they didn't realise the very effective equipment we used aka swords and spears maybe a shield I swear 10 metal soldiers with swords and shields easily take down 100 monsters
You missed the fact each kaiju that attaks is upgraded (like the flying one which had tail to do what he DID or the acid to meld Chernoalpha's strong armor and the second one that had the energy blast or whatever it's called to defuse Striker Eureka. Btw that's the reason the Gipsy Danger killed them: They were not prepared for his "comeback") so there would come another that somehow destroyed or penetrated the shield.
