    I feel like you could do another video just watching El Shorbagy in this same match talking about mental toughness. Two absolute warriors!

    Another wonderful interpretation and I truly appreciate the gentlemanly attitude of both players when the match was done. Youth of today really need to appreciate the concept of sportsmanship and gentlemanly behaviour, and I am so happy to see you reinforce this.

    Great to have also noticed and pointed out the subtleties such as what Ramy does with his Breath at different points. Do u have a whole episode on the right breathing at different points/parts of the game/match?

    • @ARProformance
      @ARProformance  3 года назад

      Thanks Victor. I don't have such an episode yet, but definitely something I will consider creating! Appreciate the suggestion and support 🙏🏼

    I took these paras from an online article about the great Tennis Player Roger Fredre. How much he transformed his mindset and behavoiur to be a Champion " When Roger Fredre was a young, up-and-coming player, he had a vile temper, by all accounts. He would smash up his racquets, scream, cry, and generally throw huge tantrums on court or whenever he lost.
    I remember hearing the commentators at his most recent Wimbledon victory remarking on how much he had changed since his teens. They’d watched him grow into the even-tempered, steady, collected man the world knew him to be."
    Any comment!!!!

      Yes! There is definitely an evolution in every athlete's mindset (like all of us as we mature and gain more experience). Great role models in Federer, Ramy, and many other legends of sport 💪🏼

      @@ARProformance Its been very helpful. Resetting myself after each rally and staying present and aware instead of getting frustrated or nervous has helped me win some nail biters. Also celebrating crucial points has helped me maintain a more positive energy.

    great choice of video clip to demonstrate mental strength.
    this was a really matured demonstration of ramy's mental prowess.
    in this match ramy proved that he is the master of his emotions. he not only controls his emotions but he is able to deploy his emotions positively for his benefit.
    agree with u also that shorbagy was also a class act in that match! speaks alot about his character too. clap! clap! clap!

    Can you please inform me of how ramy ashour holds his racket, I've always wanted to know because it looks so unusual

    • @ARProformance
      @ARProformance  3 года назад

      Thanks for the question Tristan. Instead of using the traditional cocked wrist he often lowered it a bit, but still held it firm. More importantly he snapped his forearm and timed his movement and swing to generate the amount of power he did. Hope this helps,

    I wonder if talking loudly to oneself is beneficial: it is like inviting the opponent to enter into your secret mind of the moment. It certainly gives an indication to the opponent, for or against your interest. I don't believe it is neutral.

    The champion must have a well balanced personality in the other things in his life to reach this elite level of mindset ... although this subject must be enlighted to the players but the process of mastering it is beyond talking about it ... it is long journey of practicing different skills other than squash , social communications , and many other things .
