Thanks to a small shop that surprisingly enough, when i asked about lps and showed a picture, the person who runs the shop said they had some leftovers from g2 in the storage room and even let me go there and pick the pets i wanted! So i was able to experience the fun of buying g2 lps for the first time! ^^

I’m honestly really glad they didn’t start off right away with main 5 LPS, through the previous two waves we were able to establish expectations when it comes to quality and designs. Now that we’ve had Gen 7 LPS for a couple months I hope Basic Fun will take our concerns and constructive criticism when it comes the our beloved main five and future releases! Looking forward to seeing these new releases ❤️
I hate how people complain that they’re remaking the old designs. Not everyone can afford the expensive old gen main 5’s and this gives them an opportunity to buy them again. Also the tubes with the 3 pets is BLIND tubes. They have different colored paws at the top so u don’t get doubles.

Do NOT get me wrong I am so happy that people will finally be able to get their hands on these without spending a ton of money and I am also happy we are getting some super cute designs but hear me out. Obviously these new main 5 will sell, and they will sell A LOT, so much so that it makes me scared that once Basic Fun sees the demand for these, they wont stop making them. It is okay to get a few in each wave I am just terrified that they will jump on the main 5 hype bandwagon and will get carried away, making them over and over again and not leaving space for many unique/much needed molds. Again, do not get me wrong, I love the new main 5, I love their designs, and I love that people can finally have them and add them to their collections... It just makes me scared for the future, if that makes any sense? sidenote: This will also make many people buy the full stocks out on all the websites and sell them for overpriced prices and that is terrifying... i think why the ones you mentioned might not be released is because they are store exclusives. the disco pets are five-below exclusives which i believe may only be in america, the purple reindeer is a macy’s/toys-r-us exclusive, and tbh i haven’t seen the advent calendar anywhere but on amazon and on their website they only list amazon. idk about the pet duos though i hope you’re able to find them :(
@ The advent calendar has been released in the UK, the Netherlands and France but not yet in Belgium where I live, us Belgians could order it from the Netherlands but the website in question sold out before I had the chance to get them. As for the other sets at least the purple rain deer sets pets are on the collectors guide for Europe so it should have been sold here as well. The duo packs are not store exclusive so those should be here as well but they aren’t, instead we still have wave 1 duo packs… the beginners set and hotel set are also nowhere to be found here. And also just because a set or plushy is exclusive to one store chain in the USA/canada doesn’t mean it’s not going to appear in other countries, for example in the USA the yellow LPS VIPS cat was a toys R’us exclusive but here in Belgium it was actually a common plushie and there were sets back then that were exclusive to toys r’us or target in the USA that would in turn be exclusive to either dreamland or fun in Belgium or to intertoys in the Netherlands

Ahhh I’m so excited!! I’m still a little iffy about the main 5 designs, but I think it’ll be like past waves where as soon as I saw them in person I fell in love. I’m also SO excited about getting more of the old accessories like the glasses and popcorn bowl!

When I heard I was jumping for joy!! I only rejoined the lps community a couple months ago (Julyish-August) And now this!! I'm so happy I rejoined when I did so I can start saving! The one I want the most is definitely the bath play pack! I think all the pets in the pact are absolutely ADORABLE I also want the one with the collie and the cow! I def gotta start savin to get them and i'm prob gonna have to wait till the craze dies to be able to successfully acquire them!!
I need this shorthair cat. I'm so happy the big 5 pets are coming back. My favourite are shorthairs and I love the coloring on this one. Finally we're getting a new siamese cat with blue eyes. It might be one of my favourites. ❤
6:08 my childhood! The cocker spaniel mold has been my favorite, as my 1st ever LPS was the Doctor Golden retriever from the original round and round pet town expansion set. Her name is Sofie and & I still have her. My only critique with the set is it would’ve been amazing for the pets have heterochromia to match the fur. 9:12 okay I have no idea why I’m remembering this now. But when I was a kid, I made a “custom” pet with nail polish. I only had two octopuses at the time and use it to make the “custom” which I gave to a (ex) friend. 11:04 I remember that S.H.C they were notorious for having their heads fall off. Them and the fuzzy black schnauzers. 13:43 that red bird reminds my of a phoenix. 15:40 tbh I ain’t really vibing with the cockerel spaniel on this on. Guess she looks to much like the last pet I seriously collected. Which was the purple cockerel spaniel with flower eyes(her names Lavender). This is the first non story driven LPS video I’ve watched since be I stopped participating in the LPS fandom around 16, & now ten years later I find this beautiful video on my “for you page”. I can’t believe my beloved cockerel spaniel is returning. Thank you. Also do you know what stores they be in? I skipped around a bit while watching, so I’m unaware if you mentioned where they’d be sold.
I also hope they don't change the codes for the wave 3 blind boxes cause trying to find the different pets in wave 2 was a pain with them changing the codes too much. I want that new panda and I don't want any blind box double trouble issue
I'd say that the playpacks aren't a new product. In wave 1 they released like a safari play pack with a car and some other accessories with three pets: a giraffe, a baby triplets monkey and a rhino. The other play pack was the tiki bar(?) with like a tent and stuff, and three pets: Leopard, baby triplets monkey and an iguana. Also in wave 2 there was a single play pack with like a tent, a snow scooter or something and a sleigh. It had a snow leopard, a bear cub and a husky.
Cant wait for these new pets ! As an ambassador, could you suggest Basic Fun to make a book to store the cards such as the pokemon ones ? Also why not ask them to make dino or bugs LPS😏❤️

Im interested to see how this will change main 5 LPS prices. Will those just go down because there is more awailable with the molds, or will their prices rise because of possible new collectors wanting them? Especially the paw up collie mold! And how will it affect differenciating authentic and fake lps? Now that the quality of lps has not been as good as before And how will people differenciate G2 and G7 pets, like the great dane that is the same? Will their pricing be different? Don't get me wrong, i'm really exited to see main 5 lps again! (And sorry for misspellings, english is not my first language)
As someone who doesn't have any real Collie lps, I'm so excited!! I love the collie it is definitely reminding me of old lps! I'm so glad that they are listening to us!!
I'm super excited, especially for the bath set with the Daschund, shorthair cat, and Pomeranian, but I'm also REALLY excited for the Dalmatian and ladybug set. I think bug LPS are EXTREMELY underrated and I hope Basic Fun makes more, such as butterflies [I want a monarch butterfly LPS so badly] and dragonflies. Also hoping Basic Fun brings back frogs, seahorses, bull terriers, angora cats, Persian cats in the #460 mold, angora rabbits, whales, non-exclusive dragons, fairies, and bees.
So excited for this third wave, especially that bath play set THE POM PUPPY!! There is a lot of love and attention put into this new set, I'm loving the accessory details and the VERY G2 colour scheme they are going for, I've enjoyed the previous waves but this just blows me away

I am SO excited for these. I haven’t bought actually new lps just from the store in a very long time because I just didn’t like any of the new releases. I think they’re really going to make a lot of money with these. I mean think about how probably half the community is buying RESALE pets because they aren’t releasing new pets that people want to buy, so none of that money the company was seeing. Not that I necessarily care about more money going into the pockets of a big company vs someone reselling online, I’m just saying I think they will financially see success with these and will further incentivize them to keep making designs similar to these.
Tbh, I'm glad they're reusing old designs for the main 5. It's hard to come across original main 5 designs that aren't going for crazy prices. The alternative is getting fakes but their quality varies. So bringing back #817 design is a great choice for anyone who wants to get that specific design.
Im not mad about the Great Dane gives me a chance to finally experience this in person tbh. I hope they did this with a few more designs like horses or more non main 5 even main 5s too because I know those sell for alottt
15:59 they change the pet trios to be blind bags, but the color of the paw print on the front of the packaging will tell you which set of Trios you get. @tiniestfriend made a video unboxing all three pet trios!!!

Happy to see you able to talk about it now, I felt so bad seeing it get leaked and you guys seemed soooo bummed the surprise came out early 😭 I will say though... I'm not sure how I feel about them re-releasing all of the main 5s at once. I was expecting them to slowly drop them into the future waves to build more hype, so when I saw the leaks I was like WOAH, OKAY, WE'RE RUSHING I SEE! I'm honestly just worried they're gonna hit stores and all be cross eyed 😭 seeing the cocker spaniel prototype in box in the product photos made me a lil nervous. I do hope they don't get scared to get creative with designs on the main 5s, because hate on the neons all you want, but I DESPERATELY need a hot pink collie in my life. MAKE MY DREAMS COME TRUE, BASIC FUN!!!!
I personally didn't even know what the "main 5" was before gen 7 despite collecting hundreds of LPS when I was a kid. I honestly don't care what new pets we get I just want more natural colored ones, so I'm so happy with some of these sets! I absolutely love the collie & cow pet pair and the bath set with the cat and dogs. As a kid I didn't have a huge variety of molds so I am always happy when a pet is released that I never had as a kid (I sold 95% of my original collection when I had to move). I've been re-collecting again and I really love these new pets. I'd love to see that fox that was on the packaging!!

I'm so happy the big 5 pets are coming back. My favourite are shorthairs and I love the coloring on this one. Finally we're getting a new siamese cat with blue eyes. It might be one of my favourites. ❤

6:08 my childhood! The cocker spaniel mold has been my favorite, as my 1st ever LPS was the Doctor Golden retriever from the original round and round pet town expansion set. Her name is Sofie and & I still have her.
My only critique with the set is it would’ve been amazing for the pets have heterochromia to match the fur.
9:12 okay I have no idea why I’m remembering this now. But when I was a kid, I made a “custom” pet with nail polish. I only had two octopuses at the time and use it to make the “custom” which I gave to a (ex) friend.

This is the first non story driven LPS video I’ve watched since be I stopped participating in the LPS fandom around 16, & now ten years later I find this beautiful video on my “for you page”. I can’t believe my beloved cockerel spaniel is returning. Thank you.

I'd say that the playpacks aren't a new product. In wave 1 they released like a safari play pack with a car and some other accessories with three pets: a giraffe, a baby triplets monkey and a rhino. The other play pack was the tiki bar(?) with like a tent and stuff, and three pets: Leopard, baby triplets monkey and an iguana. Also in wave 2 there was a single play pack with like a tent, a snow scooter or something and a sleigh. It had a snow leopard, a bear cub and a husky.

Cant wait for these new pets ! As an ambassador, could you suggest Basic Fun to make a book to store the cards such as the pokemon ones ? Also why not ask them to make dino or bugs LPS😏❤️

I’m soooo happy, and glad that some more clothing/wearable accessories are slowly making its way back. I just hope that blind-boxes in the future will have an equal amount of food and clothing pieces.
Again just worried about the quality.. all the wave 2 pets I’ve bought all had issues with paint and holes in the plastic

Im interested to see how this will change main 5 LPS prices. Will those just go down because there is more awailable with the molds, or will their prices rise because of possible new collectors wanting them? Especially the paw up collie mold!
And how will it affect differenciating authentic and fake lps? Now that the quality of lps has not been as good as before
And how will people differenciate G2 and G7 pets, like the great dane that is the same? Will their pricing be different?

As someone who doesn't have any real Collie lps, I'm so excited!! I love the collie it is definitely reminding me of old lps! I'm so glad that they are listening to us!!

I'm super excited, especially for the bath set with the Daschund, shorthair cat, and Pomeranian, but I'm also REALLY excited for the Dalmatian and ladybug set. I think bug LPS are EXTREMELY underrated and I hope Basic Fun makes more, such as butterflies [I want a monarch butterfly LPS so badly] and dragonflies. Also hoping Basic Fun brings back frogs, seahorses, bull terriers, angora cats, Persian cats in the #460 mold, angora rabbits, whales, non-exclusive dragons, fairies, and bees.
I just hope they stick with the same price range, I’ve heard some people saying the prices will go up on the main 5’s😢

So excited for this third wave, especially that bath play set THE POM PUPPY!! There is a lot of love and attention put into this new set, I'm loving the accessory details and the VERY G2 colour scheme they are going for, I've enjoyed the previous waves but this just blows me away

I am SO excited for these. I haven’t bought actually new lps just from the store in a very long time because I just didn’t like any of the new releases.
I think they’re really going to make a lot of money with these. I mean think about how probably half the community is buying RESALE pets because they aren’t releasing new pets that people want to buy, so none of that money the company was seeing.
Not that I necessarily care about more money going into the pockets of a big company vs someone reselling online, I’m just saying I think they will financially see success with these and will further incentivize them to keep making designs similar to these.
Tbh, I'm glad they're reusing old designs for the main 5. It's hard to come across original main 5 designs that aren't going for crazy prices. The alternative is getting fakes but their quality varies. So bringing back #817 design is a great choice for anyone who wants to get that specific design.
Im not mad about the Great Dane gives me a chance to finally experience this in person tbh. I hope they did this with a few more designs like horses or more non main 5 even main 5s too because I know those sell for alottt

I will say though... I'm not sure how I feel about them re-releasing all of the main 5s at once. I was expecting them to slowly drop them into the future waves to build more hype, so when I saw the leaks I was like WOAH, OKAY, WE'RE RUSHING I SEE! I'm honestly just worried they're gonna hit stores and all be cross eyed 😭 seeing the cocker spaniel prototype in box in the product photos made me a lil nervous.
I do hope they don't get scared to get creative with designs on the main 5s, because hate on the neons all you want, but I DESPERATELY need a hot pink collie in my life. MAKE MY DREAMS COME TRUE, BASIC FUN!!!!
I personally didn't even know what the "main 5" was before gen 7 despite collecting hundreds of LPS when I was a kid. I honestly don't care what new pets we get I just want more natural colored ones, so I'm so happy with some of these sets! I absolutely love the collie & cow pet pair and the bath set with the cat and dogs. As a kid I didn't have a huge variety of molds so I am always happy when a pet is released that I never had as a kid (I sold 95% of my original collection when I had to move). I've been re-collecting again and I really love these new pets. I'd love to see that fox that was on the packaging!!
I know I’m so excited too, that they came back. I hope next year for my birthday I can’t get them because I really want more LPS.

I'm sososo SO happy about the great dane! 🩷 They're my favourite mold, along with the dachshund, and this dane specifically is my favourite dane ever. Favourite pet ever. I only have it in fake as I don't own any real main 5s and I so hope it's available where I'm from! It would be such a joy to have a real one 🥺🩷 maybe I could make them twins 🫡
A normal colored capybara, and the newest Siamese, which I used to have a cat that was a gray Siamese. So :)
