WHO IS TRASK PERFORMANCE?
Performance Minded and Performance Driven
Trask Performance was founded in 2000, when Nick Trask followed his passion for high performance motorcycles. Knowing that the only way to make his vision a reality was to risk it all by leaving his home in New Zealand and coming to the United States.
Fast forward to the present day, Trask Performance has become the #1 leader of Harley-Davidson turbo systems and the top tuning shop in the country. Trask proudly manufactures its turbos and high-quality parts in the USA.
The risk Nick took has certainly paid off, and his mission has remained steadfast: Produce reliable monster horsepower, made with the highest quality products, and provide the best customer service.

Does it come with a rain sock or covering for wet rides? Or do you have to order separate?
I’m guessing if it did they would’ve responded. Unique design though.
Sold Separate
Will this fit on a 2009 FXDB? I ordered one but I guess I got the wrong version.
Your knee will love it !) On m8)))
The knees won't be touching it right?
I’m 6’4”, and was concerned. When riding, my inside right knee touches it a bit. Nothing crazy. On the highway I use my pegs more, so I never notice it
What size o ring goes in the back of the plate?
What are the screws on the side of the backing plate for? I’m speaking about the small Allen screws pre-installed on the backing plate.
Those holes are required for machining purposes so we loctite those allen screws in to plug the holes.
@TraskPerformance can you make me a backing plate without those holes/screws?
Is the install that simple on 2017 Milwaukee 8
It is, but make sure you take off the support bracket attached to the throttle body.
I have a massive gap between the backing plate, and the throttle body. I have removed the throttle body support bracket, and everything. Seems as though the breather bolt spacers are too long. I have about an 1/8” gap.
Hello, Thanks for reaching out - we don't have anyone on here for technical questions. Please email hello@traskperformance.com with this issue. I will also let them know to be expecting an email from you. Thanks so much!
Hey did you find out what was causing the gap I have one as well
You did not follow the instructions for bolt TQ
It's an air filter... What's with all the invented mechanical names?
