Saw him with John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers back in the 80's and his performance that night remains to this day the single best that I have ever personally witnessed and the list of those I have personally witnessed is long and populated by the likes of SRV (he had an off night due to drugs), Robin Trower, Dereck Trucks, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, David Gilmour and the list goes on.
