Not meant to nitpick, just pointing wanted to point out two small noteworthy things: - 4:10: the vendor won't actually sell unlimited items, there's a limit (that gets extended/reset). Not sure what the formula is but it's quite a lot though, so most people will probably not run into it. :) - 11:45: the buffs aren't the quite the same on cruel and you won't get the same amount of spirit on each Act 1-3 run. For example, King in the Mists does not give spirit on cruel, while the bog witch does (40 this time, instead of 30).
Also do save your leveling gear after you reach end-game. It's most likely good if you reroll a similar class, like an caster or melee. I have a tab with magic,rare and uniques from my witch in case I'll want to reroll.
For sure it’s a great idea. I do that in ssf ruthless. I have a quad tab for all sorts of leveling gear and gems. Makes leveling fun since you feel powerful af 😊
Polcirkeln + Herald of Ice (and optionally also Herald of Thunder) also works with Bows, so long as you do a bit of cold damage. Allows you to basically only focus on damage and movement speed without even needing to think about clear. "Projectiles have a chance to chain off of terrain" is a corruption affix on quivers, which also scales off Widowhail for ABSOLUTELY INSANE clear and substantially better single-target dps.

Death Rush is 20 exalts. At the trade site there's a 'trade filters' option in which you can select buyout price' in which you should select exalted orbs and it will list items only priced at exalted orbs. You'll see plenty of death rushes for 20ex. The trade site is currently pricing 1 div for 7-8ex so any item above that price will show after all the 1div ones. People are abusing this fact to make it seem like items are worth 1div.
I don’t use anyones guides but liking for the algorithm. You have refreshing videos and takes compared to the old and often jaded POE1 creators which I stopped watching their stuff many years ago. Cheers 🎉
Couple caveats to this comment. I'm a subscriber to this channel from BG3 and not dsLilly, even as 10 year PoE vet. Also this video is full of useful information. I even recommended it to my friends playing PoE for the first time. Just wanted to help people understand where she was coming from. PoE1 community was/is hyper focused on optimization and efficiency. PoE1 creators that put out "less than optimal content" would catch flak. Did Lilly do a great job of explaining this? Absolutely not but there is a reason I'm not subbed to her channel. Is there some stuff in this video I think is sub optimal? Sure. Widowhail is slightly better on bosses with small hit boxes, Pillar leveling is better for witch/sorc (and maybe warrior), and orb of storms + lightning rod is better boss damage than gas arrow + ignite. All that said, these would be slight optimizations. They don't make the information in this video useless and are not reason enough to rip into other content creators. Maybe next time she'll make a video where she reasonably lays out her frustrations but I doubt it.
She did poor research. She made bad faith accusation. She send hate squads by saying things like "bla bla bla and he's not even getting harassed" as if that's a bad thing. Now the trolls here try to find mistakes because they can't actually find huge issues with the content. It's a disgrace for the legacy poe community. this setup is made popular by lilyDS and it's also quite expensive. I'm using the Pillar setup from Lazy Exile and its really good. Clear the whole campaign in 8 hours while watching the Penguin XD

This is a useful video, but this game is degen af. Did the designers ever ask themselves what would happen when you would create such an imbalanced system? People think freedom of choice means increased optionality, but it actually means LESS (read: none) choice because the optimal path is so easily accessible once solved.
Easy enough to farm up a starter 1-30 set for a build and a 30-60 set/build. Then totally refund all passives and get you endgame build online. With a good group doing this you can finish campaign in a day or 2.

nah Lily and others were somewhat right, releasing a vid with "BEST BUILD EVER TOP 1 ULTIMATE 100M DPS" kinda incentivise people to follow the guide blindly. In a game like PoE, where people invest hours or even days to get the elements of a build together, it can be a sour experience for the player resulting in a rage quit. Happened to me a couple times on PoE 1, wasting about a week and all your currency on a build just to realise you've been baited by a streamer trying to grab more views just sucks. But it's cool, it seems titles are better now and there shouldn't be any more dramas as long as it stays that way :)
Nah they were kinda right..... I watch rage gaming just because the builds they steal are usually some of the better ones and they get to do the groundwork finding the good builds 😂 but they really need to not put up vaiting titles and start giving credit to the people they grab the builds from.

Also, the builds they share are NEVER a copy paste from the others 1 for 1. They always have different paragon boards(D4) and passive trees. If you think what they're doing is stealing builds from creators then literally nobody who uses any skill in the game are making original stuff because other builds use that skill too lol
It is good on witch only from lvl1 cuz the good spirit gems that require 100spirit are LVL locked, but definitely you can use it when you unlock those spirit skills or if you want to use multiple 30spirit gems that are good for your character in my opinion.
Ironically I think you could actually say that this is the best leveling strategy right now 🤣Just sucks that in ssf you don't have access to any of these uniques.

Hey, quick tip about that quiver you showed - its garbage. You want flat PHYSICAL DAMAGE. Rangers main dps comes from lightning arrow or the ice arrow. Both of them convert flat physical damage. So that fire damage modifier? It is useless.
Hey quick tip: if you have non physical damage it still applies. That's why you can use a cultist bow with lightning arrow and deal full chaos damage. As long as they avoid using "+% lightning damage" passives it's actually the best way to increase your damage. Then you pick generic damage increases like ±attack or +elemental damage and you can stack any type of damage.
@@xAgonisx I don't really know what you mean by 'ready for endgame', but it is probably the easiest way to get to 60. You need to completely transition out of it for most classes and respec, but this is an alt leveling build. I imagine monk is slightly faster as it has even higher boss dmg and the short dash on auto attacks speeds you up a bit, but you need to prepare good weapons beforehand. I personally used this method with a friend to run the campaign in 7.5h with gemling + chronomancer, both running this setup with widowhail. You can also, if you're here for the drama, check lily's video about the very same build where she even has trees for every class.

Not all classes have damage nodes that supports bow / bow skills right off the bat, getting to it is also something new players don't know how to do. Yeah I have. I made a monk a few days ago and the first leg of it was painful. Swapped to this strategy like 2 days ago and I am SPRINTING through the campaign. I will never play a different build while leveling an alt and I have kept sets of skills gems and quivers to easily swap in for future characters. Basically, I just speed run to an act boss, portal to town, equip the next set of gems and quiver, and then instakill everything before the next boss.

I first came across you guys from Elden Ring and for the most part all the information you provide was good and useful. The fact that you guys responded to the comment above with humility is A+++ Keep doing what you're doing, the banter with Lily did not detract me from your channel and I don't think anyone else should be. I don't see any malicious intent with your videos, but I do think it's valuable at the same time that Lily brought something important to the forefront of the community so nobody is inadvertently hurt or discouraged from playing at the same time. @@RageGamingVideos heyo guys there , love the funny MH stuff and the outro i would add 2 more things ( might be in here but i might have skipped over it in the video or not ) , the goldrim helmet unique with 25-35% all resistance lvl 10 unique is always a good pick and + skill level affix on a quiver gets multiplied by the widdowhail ( depending on the skill might be beter then an extra flat dmg affix) tthis might get fixed as there are some skill level bugs going on that arent suppossed to happen and im not 100% sure if its suppossed to work with widowhail like this.
Lily also made a video with the same type of build because it's an effective strategy. This type of content is actually designed for vets who want to make leveling a bunch of characters faster or who want to rush leaderboards in a league

I think I finally understand the drama surrounding this ds lily situation. She's jealous due to having a smaller channel, her thumbnails and titles both suck compared to all the other creators she name drops, and she's a one trick pony who seems to think that if you don't devote the rest of your life to one franchise then you're a tourist. If PoE 1 and 2 were to disappear tomorrow then her channel would disappear the next day.
or maybe she really cares about the community that enters the game she's been playing for a really long time? Is that too hard of a concept to fathom? Following a "best" guide and learning at the end of the road that it wasn't the best can easily cause players to quit or start a new character.
Making a video in which you do nothing but attack other content creators for their self aggrandizing doesn't show you care about the community. In her video she claims they are all responsible for putting out misinformation but then never actually gives an example of the misinformation they have supposedly put out. The only misinformation she seems to reference is them not using the word "best" in its most literal sense. If that's your issue then be mad at youtube and it's algorithm for pushing all content creators to make titles this way. Now to your last point, if you make a character based on someone's build guide, play that character to whatever arbitrary stopping point you want, and find out you don't like it then you can respec that character. If you delete a character but still want to play that same class then that's on you for that wasted time not whoever you got the build from.
I didn't like the drama either but I also don't think it's healthy to fill comment spaces with more trash talk. It seems the rage gaming crew has decided to take what they can as a learning experience and move on. It would be best for the rest of the poe2 community to follow suit. A positive community that helps eachother is the best thing for a game community after all, and more negativity won't accomplish anything meaningful.

The level 1 chest piece that gives 100 spirit, nothing awesome to add with that on an alt character?
It is good on witch only from lvl1 cuz the good spirit gems that require 100spirit are LVL locked, but definitely you can use it when you unlock those spirit skills or if you want to use multiple 30spirit gems that are good for your character in my opinion.

You can do this with any class, monk too. Since you can equip every weapon on every class, same goes for skills

Great video, but you can't collect extra spirit charges on cruel mode. I'm doing it now, I defeated those bosses again and wasn't given anymore spirit 😞

Yeah I have. I made a monk a few days ago and the first leg of it was painful. Swapped to this strategy like 2 days ago and I am SPRINTING through the campaign. I will never play a different build while leveling an alt and I have kept sets of skills gems and quivers to easily swap in for future characters.
Basically, I just speed run to an act boss, portal to town, equip the next set of gems and quiver, and then instakill everything before the next boss.

This strategy/leveling build is objectively the current 'best' ironically also promoted as the same by the creator you're on behalf of.

I first came across you guys from Elden Ring and for the most part all the information you provide was good and useful. The fact that you guys responded to the comment above with humility is A+++
Keep doing what you're doing, the banter with Lily did not detract me from your channel and I don't think anyone else should be. I don't see any malicious intent with your videos, but I do think it's valuable at the same time that Lily brought something important to the forefront of the community so nobody is inadvertently hurt or discouraged from playing at the same time.
Btw, this video was wonderful and will help a lot of newcomers 👍🏻

i would add 2 more things ( might be in here but i might have skipped over it in the video or not ) , the goldrim helmet unique with 25-35% all resistance lvl 10 unique is always a good pick and + skill level affix on a quiver gets multiplied by the widdowhail ( depending on the skill might be beter then an extra flat dmg affix) tthis might get fixed as there are some skill level bugs going on that arent suppossed to happen and im not 100% sure if its suppossed to work with widowhail like this.

I think I finally understand the drama surrounding this ds lily situation. She's jealous due to having a smaller channel, her thumbnails and titles both suck compared to all the other creators she name drops, and she's a one trick pony who seems to think that if you don't devote the rest of your life to one franchise then you're a tourist. If PoE 1 and 2 were to disappear tomorrow then her channel would disappear the next day.
or maybe she really cares about the community that enters the game she's been playing for a really long time? Is that too hard of a concept to fathom? Following a "best" guide and learning at the end of the road that it wasn't the best can easily cause players to quit or start a new character.
Making a video in which you do nothing but attack other content creators for their self aggrandizing doesn't show you care about the community. In her video she claims they are all responsible for putting out misinformation but then never actually gives an example of the misinformation they have supposedly put out. The only misinformation she seems to reference is them not using the word "best" in its most literal sense. If that's your issue then be mad at youtube and it's algorithm for pushing all content creators to make titles this way. Now to your last point, if you make a character based on someone's build guide, play that character to whatever arbitrary stopping point you want, and find out you don't like it then you can respec that character. If you delete a character but still want to play that same class then that's on you for that wasted time not whoever you got the build from.

I didn't like the drama either but I also don't think it's healthy to fill comment spaces with more trash talk. It seems the rage gaming crew has decided to take what they can as a learning experience and move on. It would be best for the rest of the poe2 community to follow suit.
A positive community that helps eachother is the best thing for a game community after all, and more negativity won't accomplish anything meaningful.
