Enjoyed this video and yes moose hunting is and can be tough, even tho you didn’t connect this year you still had great memories.excellent channel and love the content.cheers from Saskatchewan 🇨🇦
My spot has dried up as well, nothing the last three years. Last year I had a griz try to tear open my tent in the middle of the night so this year I went looking for a new spot. I really enjoy your videos, maybe we’ll cross paths on the trail. Thanks for sharing.
We've been having a pack of wolves in our area aswell. Normally hunt by my Cabin but this year we ended up getting a 54" out of Paxson. Looks like you guys have gotten a few nice bulls out of the area. Wish you guys luck next fall.
@@diyalaskanlifestyle I hear ya. A lot of great areas are getting over ran with people. I mainly stay by my cabin in the Lake Louise area but this summer/fall was over ran by wolves so I decided to hunt the McClaren River area and got one on 9/16. Most places are being over ran with the community any bull hunt thats been going on for the last 5 or so years.
@@diyalaskanlifestyle I have to agree with you on that. Would help clear out some of the hunters who are just taking the 1st bull they see while everyone else is stuck to 50" or 4/Spike.
Atleast you saw some moose. We didn't see anything but bears. I feel we are in the same boat as you on needing to find a new spot. Frustrating. If it isn't people, its wolves in the area.
We have been in the same boat, low numbers of moose and more and more wolves. We haven't even seen a moose in 3 years in our spot. More black bears then ever, do you think the black bears scare off the moose?
@@cjc3172 I don’t know if black bears scare moose but I think they eat calves. I think the rain we had in Dec 2021 is a huge part for my area just happens to be the year we saw all the wolves
TESLA created a "moose-hunter super drone" with a range of 5 miles! AI and KI infrared night vision system that can find old moose scan them and hunt them with a signal to your app "ready to take over"! Lets make alaksa moose again" Frank
Yeah our areas used to have good moose populations but the wolves and bears have gotten really bad where you hardly see any cows and when we see cows you don’t see calves with them. Sucks fish and game lets these wolf packs get as bad as they do.
ture moose hunting is drying up , wolves bears killing calves and cows , harsh winters , all take there toll , I thought you guys that hunt in Alaska were given wolf tags when you hunt , I do know hunters from out of state are given the chose to kill wolves so why are Alaska residents helping to keep the wolves under control, that would protect the moose and caribou calves and young , one moose will feed a family of 5 for a year ,
You guys have done well over the years with the hunts and relationships. Very well done !!
Awesome content. You guys are hard core.....love it
I really enjoy all your videos! Please keep sharing all your adventures!
Hell of a story man! Good luck hunting next year!
Its great looking back and seeing all the memories that have been made. Thanks for sharing.

What a bummer this year of moose hunting. Hopefully you get some caribou.
😎👍👍
Wow a really great video. Sad to see the devastation of the wolves . Sad
Hopefully next year is better

Never had moose I like elk the best. What does moose taste like

@@diyalaskanlifestyle Yes I definitely think black bears are opportunists. The deep snow the last few winters have been hard on the moose I believe.
Can you not shoot the wolves? Just wondering.

Sounds like you need to start trapping wolves.
