- Spiritual depression is something that can happen to the godliest among us. It can afflict those whose hearts are tender and passionate for truth, and who long for a return to right living in their society. If left unabated, spiritual depression can lead to isolation from everyone and everything. We are exhorted in the book of Hebrews; Do not neglect the assembling of yourselves.
Don’t try to go at it alone! As you come through these dark places, there will be a compassion deposited in your heart from the suffering, that was never there before. You will begin to recognize that, without God, I can do nothing. But with God I can do all things!

I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏
I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also.

A little over a year ago GOD called me. Idk how or why but the thought to read the bible (specifically the book of daniel) came to my mind. And as soon as i opened it i was captivated. A few weeks later i was in my room and i cried out just like you. It was probably the hardest i have ever cried. My face turned bright red, i had bugers coming out my nose and tears dripping down my face. I didnt know it then exactly but it was because of the overwhelming weight of my sin. I read in the book of John (i believe chapter 14 or 15) where JESUS says HE no longer do i call you slaves now i call you friends”
Thats what broke me 😅😮💨 how could he call someone like me HIS friend ?! Someone as wicked as me. But HE came in and dined with me that night. Im so glad HE never gave up on me 🥹

This is my pastor, Carter Conlon. He just recently retired as senior pastor of our church. He’s still involved though. The Holy Spirit continues to work through him.

@@elenaybarra8 Desire is what he took from me before. Even with vision, it wasn't fulfilling enough to get me through the day to day. Now I just push myself to desire him and less on friends and a partner though I still pray for that. I had a lot of social interaction right before graduating and quarantine. I pray my desire is strengthened and restored 7 fold.

I have been waking up around 4:30 - 5:00 every morning for no reason. Just feeling horribly deppressed and hopeless
Same thing going on in my life..
We need to pray in those hours we are not able to sleep. I meditate on the word after prayer then I'm able to fall asleep. Spiritual warfare is no joke. Stay in prayer my Brothers and sisters. I feel the Lord is calling us to pray in these night hours.

In the month of September I slept all day every day and would only eat 1 meal in the evenings (This is the first time I have ever experienced this). I did pray and seek God most of those days as well (praying at 3-4am ). I'm trying get back to my regular sleeping pattern and actually wanting to get up and let the sun light in and be productive. I believe God will bring me out of this and I will be triumphant!

The fundamental problem is the corruption of Gods word.

The Solution and Cure for spiritual Depression is not Motivation, but the healthful Doctrines of God's Word. And the best example for that is our Apostle Paul, who went through Persecutions like no one else for the Gospel of Grace that he preached, and he testified in his Letters the Power and Comfort of God's Word in him, and wrote more than half of the New Testament, which most Churches sadly NEVER read anymore in these days..
Thank you for saying this because it is the TRUTH of God's Word that
sets us free! Jesus portrayed the most powerful motivation! The sacrifice of His life on the cross! Once a person told me these words when I was a young woman...Depression means."..I am deeply impressed with Satan, and how it appears he is victorious"! Think of this in light of what this man is sharing. It makes complete sense.
Why god never speak a spoken word although he's here with us. It's always men or women who are depress, sinners and or ppl who are going through or been to hell and came back. This video and comment section is depressing not hopeful. You ppl appear lost in God's word.

I was praying last night while I was at work, I’ve been feeling exactly what pastor was talking about, this feeling of devastating hopelessness, I could feel in my soul and I didn’t know what to do. I prayed to God to send the Holy Spirit to give me a sign, just something for encouragement. I got home and this was on my recommendations. I was watching this with tears streaming down my face. God is sooo good this video felt like God telling me he was their and he heard me.

I actually have thought of going home to God looking at the state of things, it's disheartening even though I know these things must happen according to the Bible, experiencing it now, that is something else. Yeshua did not die in vain, Lord have mercy!

This hit me, hard. Guys, I am so flawed. Like Paul, I do what I shouldn’t do and don’t do what I should do. I sin and some sin is habitual. I’m at a point in my life where the depth of God’s goodness overwhelms me. How, WHY, does my God love me so much? Even when I fail. Even when I told Him I won’t go back to the habitual sin or what kept me in chains but I do it anyway. WHY!? His grace is sufficient and for that, I give Him all the praise. May my heart be in the right posture, God. May You never leave me nor forsake me in this ongoing spiritual battle. May you show mercy upon me. I pray everyone who watches this video be encouraged and blessed. May God heal you and do a good work in you. No matter what you have done, Jesus LOVES you and will always love you. Almost 44 years old. Two decades of one consistent slam after another. All along, I’ve been consistent in prayer. I’ve always barely managed to be grateful for each day. I am currently jobless, husbandless, no financial income, living with a relative because I cannot afford an apartment. I’ve tried to apply for assistance but got denied. I’ve been applying for job after job. No one is hiring me despite my strong work ethic and background. I have no idea what courses to take to further my future. People and family offer kind suggestions but nothing feels right. Despair has become my cloak. Everywhere I look, people are overcoming struggles, laughing, getting jobs and spouses and homes. Except me. I’m lost and praying to just go Home. Please please please say a prayer for me. 😔.

Hi Connie, several years ago I went thru something similar. I didn't have a job and was sending out numerous resumes. No replies. Nothing. For several weeks! I asked God if there was something I needed to learn thru this. He said, "trust". So I told Him that even though I had no job and a mortgage to meet, I was putting my trust in Him that He would make a way where there seemed to be no way. Then I made up my mind I was not going to worry and fret over it. And I didn't! I think it was a week later I had a lady call me and she told me her old boss had taken a job at another company as CFO and she was helping him to find an assistant for him. She asked if I was interested and I, of course, said yes. So i got that job. My prayer was answered. I feel it was a test and one that i passed. There have been some other tests later on that you would think i would have had the good sense to pass again, but no. I failed. But God was faithful and just to forgive me when i repented. Trust Him dear one. He is all we need all the time! Embrace this time as a time of trusting Him more. Lean in and don't let the enemy of your soul steal your blessing!!

I woke up in the middle of the night just now and I believe God just saved me from a spiritual attack I was having in my dreams. Just then, I was being chased by something that was disguised as my family and friends, telling me to become part of the world, and the Lord brought me out of it. As soon as I woke up He told me to focus on Him. I began praying, listening to His music and He also directed me to this video. The enemy must've not liked the fact that my walk with the Lord is getting stronger because I ended my night focusing only on God. I also messaged my non-Christian friends that God loves them and I just felt so liberated! Brothers and sisters, this spiritual warfare that we're all a part of is getting stronger but never forget, God reigns above it all! He loves you so much, He died and overcame the wages of sin to save you! Trust in the Lord! God bless! 🙏

I'm the only one in my house hold... when is God coming back and end all of this discouragement and suffering... I work in a hospital every weekend as a certified nursing assistant and when you take care of the sickness that plague people around, it can really take a toll on you... All the while raising a family and the responsibility's that fallows..

Being a believer, you can show them the face of Jesus and His love for them. You're not alone! The Lord is standing there with you. Focus on Him and ask Him to work thru you. Oh how blessed you are. The adversary is a liar and will do all he can to discourage and wear you out emotionally, physically, and especially spiritually. God can do so much thru you for those you care for. Be blessed!

I use to battle suicidal depression. No pills helped me to want to live. Daily I still wanted to die. What delivered me? Jesus Christ and the word of God. Daily I began reading God's word and 3 months later I woke up feeling such a joy and peace inside me. I went from pleading with God to let me die to praising and thanking God for another day of life. I did not want medication I wanted deliverance and deliverance (Jesus) set me free!! Hallelujah

Everything you outline and put in order. Maybe you should put in a book. Here's a title: 1,000 reasons why now and not later (rapture) it's a little long, and just an idea for title. You already have everything, just need to put together. It feels like anymore a book can be written for every week of news/event's that passes. The fast forward button has been pressed. That could be a title. In the early 90's looking ahead at what it would be like at time of Rapture. I definitely didn't see this. If i were told back then this is what it will be like before Rapture. My answer would have been. No, will be out of here before that happens.

I never really understood the beatitudes until I lost someone I loved to death. I was so sad, I knew God was there and had my loved one is His hand.
Some ask God to take them, with such depression. I asked God to give me strength and courage to say the right words, needed to give another the right passage. I tell God I am not ready to die! My work here on earth is not done. When my heart is in so much pain, that it can't take it anymore, I say God, please don't take me yet, my loved ones haven't heard your Voice. Who will take care of them when I'm gone? Who will get them through the hard times coming up ahead? I will endure this suffrage for my belovèd❣🙏🏾

I was in a deep spiritual depression season where I didn't feel like praying nor even reading the Bible & it was brought on by the many times I failed God, I started to question why would He save me why would want to use me, and the spiritual attacks were making things worse.
In bed I had a sense or God made me feel like I never ran to Him like a young daughter running to her Father for help, for safety, then I heard "the Blessing" song in my head and it shifted my mood and I got up and prayed

I have been there to last year i totally gave up on life, didnt eat that much anymore barely drank water almost died was so depressed. I asked God to guide me in life and give me a goal, than i started to think different about everything my depression slowly vanished. And now i am strong again and talk to him almost everyday to thank him for helping me. My reason here is to safe people in those dark years we got now with the corona lies. Till the rapture comes i have to walk the earth to keep a eye out for the people and protect who i can.
