I think you should swap the barriers around. Entry barrier should be further inside the garage, exit more towards the road. This way, any cars entering aren't blocking the road while waiting for the barrier to open.

I’m really curious on how you guys clean off the duat on your lego city, also I wish someday I’ll be able to create my own lol, your city looks so clean and so beautiful
When I was in my old house, I was in the basement with the whole house air cleaner right next to my set up. I didn't have to dust for 3 years! Now that I'm in a normal room in my new house, I am going to have to dust...cans of air, small brushes and a lot of time. I think Alex Nunes has a video as does JangBricks on dusting Lego
I use a s Swiffer duster for delicate stuff and a small hand vacuum for the rest.
I am looking at finding a plexiglas setup that can cover it…. In sections. - but otherwise i have a dyson where i set it to medium/low setting and use the soft small brush piece. …. Once in a while i take each set and then give a shower. (I have a shower head that can give a “mist” but a powerful one, …. I take each floor … one or two houses at a time. - i use a spray with a “green soap” where there is some soda( i am not sure what that is called in English) but it is a very effective thing - normally it is very “heavy duty for cleaning a pipe that is clogged or a pot that has burned the content to the bottom) but this is very diluted so it is with a soap that does not foam - i spray - let sit and mist once again, open everything up, and place it outside to “air out and dry” and that gives it back the shine from when it was new.
He answered this question in some other video's comments. He said that he uses a vacuum cleaner with bristles on it to clean everything

Instead of kneeling on the plates (which yes I do that too sometimes) I suggest having a small rubber mallet or something to hit the pieces together. It does make a louder sound, and it works just as well as kneeling. Just a suggestion in case your knees hurt! Great job!

Wow, this city is leagues ahead of the normal “I bought 4 Modular’s and some baseplates city” (not that it’s a competition) I’m just blown away by the level of cohesion and detail!

The sideways technique for the garage floor and parking spot stripes is stellar! I felt it was such a shame you really went to all that trouble and it’s almost impossible to see?

Before praising too much, let's not forget that one really isn't supposed to build like this. One will never reach true greatness by applying illegal Lego building techniques.
But it does look neat. Should have been made by using tiles, though.

the road is just snot and no real connections meaning theres no stress and so its perfectly legal

At first i didnt like legos but when i watched this video i started getting obsessed with legos
Bau das Parkdeck dreistöckig. Das unter Geschoss Open Space mit Säulen und Stahlkonztruktion. Mittlere Etage mit Oberfenster so im ersten oberen drittel der Wand. Dach offenes Parkdeck mit Werbetafel. Einfahrt unten so lassen, für die oberen Geschosse die Zufahrt auf die obere Ebene bauen 👍🏻

I remember on roblox finding a really cool parking garage where I think it was meant to be a hillside one and the area where the elevators are is facing towards what would be the bottom half of the hill and has a really nice open look to it and it does look really nice if there is a road infront of the bottom area, Its not really lego but roblox is similar to it and I just wanted to share the fact with you.

edit: btw I adore legos, one time I built a small phone with like the circuit boards and the screen was made out of those blue glass pieces 😂
I made it so you just break the glass in half put it in then use a brick to compress and bam. It also had circuit boards and everything 😂 except that it looked like a brick 😂
can i just say, as a mini painter, why not have the moving barrier with the stickers facing towards you? it's not like the minifigs are going to mention it but YOU do have to see the back of the stick.

Cutting base plates ? 😮
A lot of people cut plates, hoses and technic axles because lego simply do not sell the desired size or color. But it's so wrong on so many levels. By that logic you could simply carve a technic axle to Gandalf's staff or smelt lego pieces and pour them let's say to a Sauron shaped mold because lego do not sell that kind of stuff. Imo the whole principle of lego is to use the available parts smart and creatively. But it's only my opinion and who am I to judge?
