Hecla Mining is a local mine here in N. Idaho. I can confirm that the earnings are doing better as they are hiring/looking for more workers. Usually the workforce expands when profits are up, and not the other way around.

I held thru earnings; production and operations seem to be doing fine; they got Lucky Friday back online, Keno Hill is coming along, Greens Creek doing its thing. What I don't understand: given AISC at 13.10 an ounce, cash costs 1/3 of that, realized price per oz was well above $24, yet they still had negative FCF and didn't make any money. Can someone explain?
