Excellent. They were the days!! It is weird how all the freight was using the mainline on that day - must've been engineering work on the slow lines to the south, I imagine! Brings back a lot of good memories! Keep up the good work!
Great memories came flooding back to early 80's, warm glazed waiting room on the up, between the Goods and Mains, and silly pence Bovril/ Hot Chocolate from the vending machine on a cold Derbyshire winter's day.
Great video and thanks for sharing - reminds me of my times spent at Chesterfield in early 80s. Then Peaks handled the London - Sheffields and also many of the NE/SW services. An HST was a rarity indeed then on the Midland line. How come all the freight workings run through the station when there are two running lines behind, just as when I was there (31, 37, 47/3 then)?
Always great to see these 80's-90's videos, thanks for posting them all :)

Nice one, it's great to look back to the years when there was a decent variety of diesel loco's to see, thanks for sharing...Bill
Brilliant footage, brings back memories. Loved the split headcode 37 in Railfreight livery.
Great as always Russ, fantastic results from the anti-shake software, once you get used to the dancing date! :)
Some great footage. Brings back a lot of memories. Liked.
