I have lived in beautiful Rhode Island my entire life. I can honestly say that this is NOT nearly the only haunted place around here, although you can almost feel the paranormal undulating from this house from miles away. I have driven by multiple times at daytime and night and can honestly say that I have NEVER seen even one light turned off, EVER. The house is large and their electric bills must be insanely high for this to be done just for the novelty. I have had numerous paranormal experiences throughout my life, all in old houses/buildings like this one.

One time I was in a house in Pawtucket visiting a friend and it was just her and I. She went out to get some beers and I was in kitchen cutting cucumbers and I felt a whole hand touch my lower back. It didn’t feel unfriendly but it was scariest thing ever. I’ve seen UFO lights above the woods in North Scituate/Foster, where I live. This small state is OLDD and jam packed with paranormal everywhere! I love my home state of Rhode Island ❤️❤️

The narrator sounds like he should be narrating a children's book instead of a horror story. They way he talks specifically sounds like he's explaining it to a child. He's a good narrator though, its just sounds ill fitting. If he read me a bed time story I'd feel very relaxed.

True. “A Haunting in Connecticut” and the Travis Walton story are two good examples of paranormal stories bastardized so badly it made people think they were fish tales.
Even the original stories about the house from this story were bastardised, because the Warrens added in all sorts of personal biases, based on their pre-conceived religious beLIEfs. Rather than investigating the case for the facts of what was there, they made assumptions about "daemons" and garbage like that.
