At 31:41, Dr. Venkatesh completely undermined the discussion. I wanted to stop listening when he equated God with Paramatma-this is a fundamental error. In Vaishnava Sampradaya, there is no concept of 'God' as framed by Western philosophy. What Dr. Venkatesh referenced reflects a Western appropriation of Indian philosophy, which distorts its true essence. But I appreciate his tenacity to learn Sanskrit which has inspired me.
I am based on Madurai and related to TMS. Golden songs of TMS for MGR included in between your upanyasams really great compared to others upanyasams. I have maintaining a separate Diary writing all your upanyams, points mentioning then and there, with your Photo in the first/front page.

At 31:41, Dr. Venkatesh completely undermined the discussion. I wanted to stop listening when he equated God with Paramatma-this is a fundamental error. In Vaishnava Sampradaya, there is no concept of 'God' as framed by Western philosophy. What Dr. Venkatesh referenced reflects a Western appropriation of Indian philosophy, which distorts its true essence. But I appreciate his tenacity to learn Sanskrit which has inspired me.
