i know this isnt what beat repeat is for but can you repeat something that increases in speed, but off the bpm grid, sort of like what arpeggiator has?

freeze and flatten... then just cut they section you don't want from the audio file

ogi make the effect... right-click on the channel. "freeze". then right-click again. "flatten"
